08-03-2026This is an excellent value with all of the basic essentials that two people need when camping. The light-weight pans heat up quickly and evenly over a propane burner, and clean up easily, although I’d pack a sponge or something grittier than the included cloth if you’re making scrambled eggs. The “plates” are small and designed to double as shallow bowls, and the foldable silverware actually stays open and doesn’t collapse when using. Everything packs up neatly into a drawstring mess bag so it could work for backpacking too, but it’s probably a little too big to carry if space is at a premium. (I’m not an expert backpacker, so take that feedback with a grain of salt.) Definitely recommend!

08-03-2026The cups are silly, too small and they get scorching hot even with the rubber bands. Otherwise, everything else worked as expected and the lightweight and small but functional size was great for our late fall camping trip. The kettle is the best part, it heats up quickly and holds enough for two decent sized mugs. I would not suggest this for more than two people as the small size would be a pain to try and cook more than two portions.

08-03-2026This set was useful for cooking with since it comes a pan, pot and kettle. I love the kettle most of all because I could make coffee, noodles, instant oatmeal and hot chocolate. Pretty much anything water or soup based worked well with this, but the pot/pan is thin. Since i'm cooking over a camp stove, they heat up very quickly which causes them to easily burn food. After that happened, I chose to not use the pan again. The plates are incredibly small so they are only useful for things like a sandwich or some pieces of fruit; not for multiple food options. The cups were also small but good enough for water or a 6 oz coffee. I enjoyed using the sleeves because they are difficult to hold when drinking hot beverages out of them. The silverware are convenient to use since they fold in half and can be stored inside the pots.Although this set is compact and easy to transport I wouldn't buy it again. I'd only use it for the kettle and pot.

08-03-2026Very well made for such a basic, and simple kit. It probably isn't durable or the items large enough in capacity for hardcore back country, and long multi day trips for groups. Yet is perfect for a single person or couple of people just getting into pack hiking, kayaking, etc. It got the job done, but I will probably upgrade to a similar, yet more versatile, and expansive kit with larger items of greater capacity.The only minor issues I had were the size of the plates (saucers actually), which were VERY small, and the silicone grips that go around the also very small tumbler cups. The grips aren't tapered like the tumblers, so they fit a bit awkwardly, but do the job. Otherwise, this is a very nice economical kit for simple weekend camping trips or picnics, and packs very compact.
