I almost purchased an Akoya Saltwater pearl earrings-which of course costs an arm and leg. My husband convinced me to choose these instead with my birthday gift card and I'm so glad he did! I was being a bit snobby and thinking I really want a high quality pearl set. If this is you and you're a perfectionist and just knowing it isn't a saltwater set, then perhaps don't pick it. I'll say this: this set looks quite elegant when put on! It catches the light just right. Don't expect too much close up on the diamonds but in the light it does sparkle elegantly. I felt so rich just wearing it lol. Honestly most everyday people won't even know the difference. My advice-take a chance and wear it for one night to a special occasion-I think you'll be impressed.

08-03-2026The set is really beautiful. Well finished and good quality materials.I am giving 3 stars instead of 4 because the hook on the earrings is very weak and tends to bend easily. I don't know how long it will last without breaking. I haven't returned them because I really like them but I don't think they will last long if I remove them and put them on very often. A shame because they really are sleek and modern.
