BodyBoss Home Gym 2.0 - Full Portable Gym Home Workout Package
Looks and feels strong, does what it states. Great for travelling and small spaces.
Bought this for a new house. Unpacked after 3 months. Only the base and bar was in the package. Everything else missing.
I'm not one to write reviews. Like EVER! But I'm so impressed with this portable gym that I had to. First, the system really is lightweight, easy to assemble, and easy to use. And you really can do just about any exercise that you would do in gym. Second, I actually feel sore the day after my workouts! (Not that I'm a masochist, but soreness after a workout let's you know that your exercises are working!) The only reason I knocked off a star was because I think the system should come with extra bands. The ones that come with the kit have a resistance that equates with about 60 lbs each, but it'd be nice to be able to add more if I wanted. Still, you can buy other bands that have a clip and it'll work just fine - not having extra bands is more of an inconvenient. All in all, though, I am in LOVE with BodyBoss!
I love this portable gym. It's easy to carry anywhere. It's very easy to use and there are several exercises that can be done on it. I like that additional resistance bands can be added increasing resistance and the tension can be adjusted on the board also. The only down side is that will high resistance I need to put heavy dumbbells (35 lbs) one on each side of the gym base so it doesn't lift. That's the only flaw in it's design and it's easily remedied.
I really love this. I am a gym junkie. So when all the gyms closed due to covid19 I was very worried.I ordered extra bands at the suggestion of someone else. But they’re much longer than the bands that came with this. If you’re creative you can figure out how to run these multiple ways through multiple hooks for the tension you need.I can do squats on this thing but I end up doing sets of 20. Research shows that high reps work the same as heavy low reps, as long as you work til failure on your reps. Deadlifts I have been using this for single leg deadlifts instead. It’s actually a great workout for your whole lower body. I was never able to get the balance right but... it turns out using the tension with bands makes then balance much easier without taking out any intensity. Brilliant. Bench press, I can lay down on this thing, it’s not super comfortable.. but I can get the straps short enough through multiple hooks that I get to exhaustion. The only thing I don’t like about working out with bands is that you only you don’t work your muscles when you’re lowering the lift; only raising. Thus one more reason I need almost double the reps. But there is absolutely no doubt that I am getting an intense workout. I still really miss the gym don’t get me wrong.
I really like the body boss. It does what it says it will. The adjustments are fast, numerous varied workouts, and a solid base to work from.Novel idea with many applications for in home use.I only wish it was easier to find, buy, add on more resistance bands.
Sometimes the exercise mat bends unintentionally but other than that (And lack of any written explanation of why there’s so many clips on the mat). Lots of online videos to cover strength training, cardio, and core training. Great for beginners or maintenance.
It was worth the money. Very convenient and portable.
It's good for portability but the resistance can be tricky to adjust. One resistance band is not enough for a squat especially if your used to lifting weights. Might have to invest in different bands. But overall really do replicate the workout. The tension only occurs when the band is stretch so not much resistance in the beginning of the movement. Other than that can't complain better than no workout at all. Since covid close all gyms.
Overpriced. Not so good material but easy to carry . Very good for indoor workout
