I’ll start by saying that I returned this skirt, the reasons are because it didn’t suit me as I hoped. Now the 5 stars, it’s stunning ! It truly is. When I opened the package I was worried the fabric would cling, nope not clingy at all. It felt very comfy, and I found it soft. The colour is gorgeous, this beautiful blue/green or green/blue. Luxurious colour and even fit… just not for me. I feel it’s true to size and if you have a dinner party the stretch is a bonus. I felt the thickness of material to be perfect for all seasons (well unless you live in super warm place maybe). I can see this skirt going well for an informal dinner or business setting as well as casual. Dress it up or casual. My pet peeve, no pockets boohoohoo!
This skirt is absolutely beautiful! Pleated skirts are back in style and I couldn’t be happier! The fabric is delicate but washed well (in a mesh bag) and only needed a little steaming to get the wrinkles out. I appreciate that the lining is substantial and goes all the way to the hem. I plan to wear this to work with a blouse or sweater. I usually wear a 12/14 and the large for me perfectly.
Perfect fit, perfect material- if you’re debating on getting this skirt, just do it! I feel so feminine but still professional. Very flowy! I have gotten many colors of this same skirt.
I got this skirt in peacock blue, size S. I am 5’4” and 109 lbs. When I bought a skirt like this before, it didn’t look good on me because I had some pudge around my belly (love handles, back fat, poochy belly). I recently lost that fat doing cold plunges so I thought I’ll try again and I LOVE this skirt!!!I’m not sure if I really got peacock blue since the color was darker than I expected. Could they have sent me one of the darker, similar colors?? I think they had a blue green and a black green (or something like that). I still love it so I’m keeping it!!!The skirt was of quality!!! The outer fabric has a nice thickness to it and it is lined. I steam ironed it and the wrinkles and packaging creases came out easily without budging the folds of the skirt. The skirt did get a little staticky (twice that I noticed in the 8 hours I wore it today), but the static went away as soon as I felt them (don’t know how…). Maybe the jostling of the layers while walking released the static…I went to the Monet immersion exhibit with my son and it was the perfect skirt for it! I’m pretty sure I got some water on it at some point but it didn’t leave any stains, nor did the material dry and get pulled (like some chiffon-like fabrics). It can be put in the washing machine (cold) but I’d put the skirt in a laundry bag and use a delicate cycle, and hang it to dry. It’s 98% polyester and 2% viscose so if you’re worried about toxins, you might want to wear a cotton slip underneath. The fabrics are not stretchy but the band is. It was very comfortable to wear!!!
I have now bought multiple skirts in different colors and I am loving each of them. They are very comfortable, come WITH a liner so I don't have to worry about wearing a slip. I'm only 5'4" so they come a few inches below the knee for me which is great. I honestly don't have anything bad to say about them except for one of the colors, the Watermelon Red, is probably closer to an orangeish red. Other than that I love these skirts. The fabric feels good, and you can tell it's not a cheapo skirt. Grace Karin products are consistently comfortable and wear well.
The quality of this skirt is great, and it is very pretty in person. It fits well, maybe it’s a tad too large, since it’s supposed to be worn up higher on the waist. However, I don’t feel it is very flattering. I thought it would be flattering, but it comes off as more frumpy than anything. I guess we all have different body shapes, and I should have taken that into account before purchasing this.I’m neither slim enough, tall enough, nor have the right shape to pull this off. To be clear, I don’t think you have to be super slim to wear this, but for some reason… I don’t have the right look in this. It definitely makes me look frumpy and poorly dressed, versus cute librarian-vibe. Maybe if I added it with some heels - I don’t know, I am completely lost when it comes to styling. HELP ME, please!
Nice black skirt. Comfortable. Good length for heels, flats, or boots. Will pair well with blouses or sweaters.
Such a nice skirt. Fits true to size and is very flattering. The fabric was a good thickness. I received so many compliments. What I like about this skirt is that it’s versatile and can be worn dressed up or down. I just wish it had pockets.
