Big fan of the Lenovo "Timy-in-One" series. Slipped this PC into my existing TIO monitor dock and all was good to go. This configuration has very snappy performance for my business needs. I love having fewer cables with the TIO docking monitor setup (though I also have another of these PCs connected to a non-TIO monitor and the compact size is still a plus). Great range of configurations to match one's needs.
I LOVE IT, Easy to setup!
I really like the form factor of this Lenovo ThinkCentre. It's sooo much smaller than a traditional PC, but has all the speed and power of the big guys. Of course if you like tinkering with your computer, i.e., adding memory, changing out boards, etc., then stick with the larger cabinet models. The CPU runs cooler and more power efficient on this one, so it doesn't need a fan. You sacrifice a bit of computing speed as a consequence, but it's still faster than my previous (7 year old) computer. While gamers might need something more powerful, this one is perfect for my tasks, which include video editing. A good value overall.
It’s amazing something so small has the same capacity as a tower. There are mainly USB hook up connections, an HDMI plus one alternate connection for the monitor. The power source isn’t proprietary so it can be checked by a computer repair shop if needed. There is no CD drive included, but that wasn’t an issue for me.
I bought three new Lenovo computers and two of them had problems with the video drivers or graphics cards. I contacted Lenovo and they said the warranty started two months prior to me buying it. They said these devices were sold without an operating system and the seller modified the device thereby voiding the support. All three are going back. Don’t waste your time like I did.
Excellent machine. So far no problems!
I bought three at once to replace some aging workstations that couldn't run W11. Great little computer for an office scenario, it's small, it's fast. Works great except:If you will be using Remote Desktop between these, make sure the system id number is not the same between them. I was getting a logon failure in RDP and Event Viewer on the RDP host showed Event ID 6167. My understanding is a recent Windows update may have made this an issue. Just something to be aware of before you deploy these. There are ways to fix it.
Very fast and easy setup. Great value for the money but should have at least 3 year warranty and not 1. Size is great as well as it's Wi-Fi connectivity. Very powerful and quiet.
