Gave 5 stars even though I returned because there is nothing wrong with the product or the supplier, just not right for my application. The larger size is great for what I needed.

08-03-2026If you anticipate these working like a bobber than you will be disappointed. I wanted something that would lift my bait up a little bit to get it out of the weeds. I found they were adequate at lifting a chunk of shrimp or mackerel up just enough to give fish a chance to see it. Might help if they were a little bit larger. They were smaller than I expected but there was definitely some lift off the bottom.

I combine them with fishing line, weights, hooks, and other floats and package them together in a compact holder that I make from insulator sleeves. These are just the right size and work well. I am including them in shoeboxes with school supplies, hygiene kits, toys, and other gifts to donate to Operation Christmas Child. I am confident that the receiving children will be thrilled and find them usefull as well as fun. I recommend this product.

These rig floats can float your bait slightly off the bottom, whichever rig you use, to avoid crabs from nibbling your bait, or to avoid obstacles on bottom.
Deadly to pompano and other surf fishing species as its name indicates, you can make pompano rig with Dr.Fish rig float with just hooks, beads and a strand of fishing line.
It can also be used to make walleye crawler harness with spinner blades.
