08-03-2026I’m a man, and I wear these for hot yoga.Let me start by saying, I’ve always thought under armour was the one of the top best made athletic clothing lines. I’ve learned that some of their clothes can be but sometimes they fall short. These compression pants are perfect in a couple ways and terrible in others.I’ll start by telling you what’s great about them.* They’re very thin and they breathe really well!! I use them in hot yoga and they don’t hold onto sweat at all.* They’re very stretchy and my yoga poses have improved after wearing them because I can fully stretch without restriction into every pose!* They’re so comfortable that I wear them when I get back home just around the house to lounge in.* I can see the shapes of my legs and can see when my muscles are growing.Here is what I don’t like* I’ve purchased both large and medium and both sizes are too long for my legs. I have to either pull them way up my waist and then they eventually roll down or I have to let the extra material sit at my ankles. Additionally the pants have wrinkles in them because of this and it just makes it look like an improper fit* I have to constantly adjust my pants during hot yoga because they are too big.* The threads are already coming loose after a few days of having them.* Each color of heat gear under armour pants fit differently. If you look closely at the material in each color of pants you’ll see that it changes even though all the pants are heat gear. This means that each color fits differently. I was certainly surprised when I ordered a blue pair and expected them to fit like my red pair and they were super loose in one area. I was disappointed.Overall these pants are spectacular in some ways but terrible in others. Right now they are a 4 start product with a potential to be a 5 star if these issues are fixed.

The fabric is super-light and stretchy, giving a “second-skin” feel that moves with you — whether I’m drilling in the garage, doing some light workouts, or just lounging, they stay comfortable and don’t restrict movement. Comfort & Fit:The compression fit is snug but not restrictive — it feels supportive around thighs and calves, and the waistband sits comfortably even after hours of wear. At 6’0”, the regular 28” inseam hits just right.  The material also breathes well; even on warmer days (or when working hard in the garage), I didn’t overheat or get sweaty — they wick moisture and dry quickly. Performance & Versatility:These leggings work great as a baselayer under shorts or pants (especially when doing metal work in your garage — like you mentioned you do), but I also have worn them solo with shorts when the weather’s warm. They’re flexible enough for workouts, yet comfortable enough for everyday wear. The seams seem well-placed to avoid chafing or rubbing even during extended wear or active movement. Build Quality:The fabric feels durable — it doesn’t feel like a thin novelty bit, but rather a high-quality compression legging that holds up over repeated use. After several wears and washes (following care instructions: cold wash / tumble dry low), the stretch and shape remain intact. Overall Value:For the price and performance, these leggings are hard to beat. Whether you’re using them as a base layer, workout tights, or just comfortable everyday leggings — they deliver. For anyone who wants good coverage, support, moisture-wicking comfort, and versatility — this HeatGear pair is a very solid choice.

08-03-2026I want to dislike Under Armour, but their clothing really is pretty nice. I think their footwear is comfortable but doesn't hold up well. I haven't had the same issue with UA's clothes. I have an athletic build and most leggings or pants I buy don't fit well; they're either too tight in the legs or too loose in the waist. These fit well and honestly look great.
