I'm starting to put food by, and I picked up some heavy-duty shelves to keep canning jars on. The shelves (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C13H7W6L) are marvelous, and my strategy is to put newly canned stuff in at the back and pull from the front to keep them rotated. I'm also using the cardboard crates my canning jars came in to keep different food items organized, and I can stack an additional crate on top if I get that much canned. Perfect! But I still needed something that will allow us to see at a glance what the different groups of jars are, especially for my partner who cannot seem to remember that I've written the contents and date on the top of each jar lid! What I love about these magnetic labels are how easy they are to move around. They are not so strong that it's like pulling teeth getting them off, but they are strong enough to hold to the shelves. The ability to easily slide out and change the paper labels combined with the clear plastic label protector that just slides into the magnetic holder is flexible, simple, and elegant. I'm very pleased with these labels.
Good plastic-like magnets. They adhere well to my whiteboard (Viz-Pro from Amazon). They come with 2 Paper Inserts and a Plastic Insert. This make them snug enough to stay on place, but easy to slide out. For my purposes, I use a Dymo Letteratag Lablemaker set for LARGE letter format for my lettering. By trimming the top a bit, they fit nicely in these magnets. There is just enough room to insert the whole label (I did not remove the label adhesive covering). Each month I will have to update the number by each name. Again, there is plenty of room to insert or pull the label out easily, yet snug enough to stay in place otherwise. I needed a 1.5 inch long magnet for each student. I ordered the 3 inch size, and I was able to cut these easily with a set of Cutco Multi-Purpose Heavy Duty sheers (in doing so, you must secure the plastic and paper so that they don'e slide out). I also tried using just a pair of generic scissors as a comparison. They cut well, but for the 120+ cuts I plan to make, I'm not so sure the scissors will hold up as well. I am pleased enough that I may order another box.
Just as described but only issue I found was if you get a gust of wind in the shop they can fly out easily but a little can fix that. They come with multiple pieces of paper in each of the magnets. Otherwise would give 5 stars. Recommend, but pay attention to the sizes you could get confused and order wrong.
As described. Each magnet came with two blank card stock slips of paper and a plastic protector. Extremely fast shipping.
For years, I've had my whiskeys on wire shelves. While I know where everything is, it is a bit overwhelming for my guests whenever I offer them something to enjoy. These little magnetic tags are exactly what I needed! The strips are 0.5" x 2" and come with two paper labels and a plastic cover for each. As my handwriting looks like I went to medical school, I used my label printer to make things nice and tidy. I did have to trim a hairline amount from my labels to fit inside the strips and behind the plastic, but they were able to do that and keep the two slips of paper as well. The magnets aren't the strongest, but these strips are lightweight and sufficient so long as you're not looking to hang them on your fridge to hold up your kid's latest drawing. They stick to the wire metal shelving just fine. These magnetic strips were perfect for the job, I couldn't be happier!
Great item! We use them to label clothes by size on a shelf. The magnet attaches to the front of the metal shelf so we can clearly see the size of clothes were looking for.The one con is the fact that these magnetic labels are a bit larger than the width of the shelf; so on occasion, the magnetic label will be knocked off. Regardless of this, it is still a great way to label items on a metal shelf. You can be as detailed as you want on the label.
I use these for assigned seats as I’m a school bus driver and these are wonderful! They stay right on the ceiling of the bus and don’t fall.
They are nice looking and the concept is good for labeling shelves etc but echoing many other reviews, the magnets are extremely weak. I'm going to try and add strip magnets behind them to hopefully create a better bond.
All good
as I excepted will buy again.
