I ordered a couple other pilates bars, but they didn’t fit the bill. This is the one you want. The resistance bands are heavy duty, as well as the foot straps, nice and wide. I prefer the screw together bar as opposed to the snap in place method. I ordered the “used like new” which sometimesIsn’t the case, but this one truely was LIKE NEW and saved $10. Buy it, you won’t be disappointed~

easy to assemble since it screws together. Small enough to pack in suitcase which I need due to my job. Great tool to enhance regular exercise. Good construction. The e-book/video doesn't work. The site is not active apart from that it's a good purchase.

This has been a great addition to my introduction to Pilates and it's great for general strength training as well! It's easier/better for me than free weights but provides similar benefit. I like that it's one piece but I can use it to work out my arms, legs, and abdominals too. It's got so many uses! Initially I had difficulty getting the tube to wrap around the bar and stay wrapped in order to get more resistance, but with a little practice and seeing it done on some videos online, it DOES work! I'm very pleased with this purchase and look forward to finding more ways to use the equipment from the free ebook and other online resources. Highly recommend!

When I purchased this product I was excited to read that it came with an e-book and video instructions once you registered your purchase. My stick didn’t come with a registration card and I didn’t have any luck when I contacted the company directly. I know you can find videos on other websites but I ordered this one specifically for that reason.

I like this a lot more than I thought I would. It takes less than a minute to connect the bar pieces, and then you're instantly ready to start working out. I don't have space for large gym equipment, and this is a very suitable replacement. The pamphlet provides some sample exercises and a an e-book and video. But, this is so easy to use, you don't even need a video. Just think of exercises you'd do with a weight bar or dumbbells, but add on the flexibility and capability of additional leg exercises on the floor. I also like that the bar keeps the bands spread out and away from your body, so they don't rub against the skin while exercising. The cost is also so reasonable compared to the new equipment flooding the market...these "home gyms" where you stand on a platform, and pull up on the resistance bands without a bar. Those cost anywhere from $100-$800+, which is insane. Seriously, Google those things. You get the same thing with this pilates bar, except you put your feet in the straps and can easily move wherever you want.

This Pilates bar is amazing! I’ve had this for about a week I wanted to do an honest review. So far it has been very durable and still looks new. I have used this for a busy week and haven’t made it to the gym. With this Pilates bar I can still get a short or full workout in my own home with no other equipment. I highly recommend this product. It’s easy and fun and I can use it while watching tv. Love love love it.

I love this Pilates bar! It’s my favorite to workout my whole body. Especially my arms and abs. Very easy to put together and perfect to travel with. The only small complaint I have is that one side is resistant when it’s comes to the cord wrapping around the pole. That’s such a minor flaw though for such a great workout bar.

FINALLY!!! A Pilates stick that you can screw and unscrew. I have two others that you have to press some 'buttons' to connect the two parts and disconnect them for portability. I can't do it. It requires a lot of strength and it hurts my fingers to even try to do it. So it doesn't fit into my gym bag because I have to keep it connected at all times. I HATE IT! I saw this on line here at Amazon and couldn't wait to get it. One other thing that is also very important, at least to me. The two bands are attached to the bar at the top so that they do not roll around the bar. This makes is very simple to increase or decrease the tension on the bands. I have had to put double-sided tape on my other bars to prevent the bands from slipping around. I cannot say enough good things about this bar...not to mention the really neat carry case that comes with it that makes it really portable. Nice! Very nice! And the price is just right.
