08-03-2026I wore these socks with leather ankle boots for a Christmas week trip to Washington, DC. I did a lot of walking, sometimes in rainy weather, and the temperature was between 40-50 F. My feet were always warm and toasty, and even once or twice my feet felt a little too warm.These are not super thick socks, I would say they are sort of midweight socks. They are warm enough for chilly but mild winter weather, but I'm not sure how they would fare in freezing temps. I found them to be comfortable and soft enough although they don't have a lot of cushion.I wear size 9 boots/sneakers and I have wide feet and thick ankles and legs. The socks fit snug on me but I didn't find them too tight. They were always comfortable in feel and warmth level.Overall I am very happy with my purchase. I have washed them and tumble dried them twice and they look just like new. No holes and no loose threads on any of them. I recommend them.

08-03-2026I'm slowly trying to get my wardrobe to all natural fabrics. No synthetics. These wool/ cotton blend are comfortable. They fit well. They are a decent mid weight sock. So far they are holding up well after several washes and wear, they have retained stretch and shape. I like the colors too. They are a shorter style than most of my winter socks just a couple of inches above the ankle.

08-03-2026I love these socks and have purchased them twice. Even though they are wool they don't itch and are very comfortable plus I get compliments due to the bright colors and patterns. These do run a bit small so if you have larger feet they might not fit. I wear a 7 and they fit perfectly.
