08-03-2026You get what you pay for, and you don't pay much for these! I've found them to be adequate for creek fishing, although the springs pop loose sometimes and have to be re-set in the grooves. I'm also 90% sure that they're plastic, not balsa.All that said: price is excellent, quality is fair.

08-03-2026Durability: These little buggers hold up extremely well. I use them with my 8 and 10 year old and they have thrown them off rocks, closed them with their tackle box lids, accidentally kicked them, etc…and they have weathered the beatings.Visibility: The real test is when the sun is setting in your face and you’re looking for the bobber. As difficult as this is, we are strill able to see the bobber floating in front of us. The yellow top witht he orange/red tip is very visible.Floatability: Stright up and down, just what I want. I’ve had up to four small weights placed just below the bobber and it weighs it down like it should making it slight less visible but when fishing from shore, we need more weight to throw it out.Set-up: very easy to install on the line, kids had some difficulty with the spring but once they figured out how to push it down, no issues.Overall would definitely recommend for adults and kids. Probably never go back to the old fashioned round bobbers.
