08-03-2026ABSOLUTE GARBAGE.. ONE OF THE PIECES DOES NOT FIT PROPERLY AND DOESN'T CLOSE. THIS IS THE SECOND ONE I BOUGHT. THE FIRST ONE WAS DAMAGED TOO.. SAME PROBLEM. I FIGURED I WOULD TRY TO RETURN AND ORDER A NEW ONE.. WELL SAME THING. GARBAGE AND DAMAGED.. DO NOT BUY WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY

08-03-2026I really like these animal nesting dolls. A great twist to the originals. I like that they are handmade, although that means they are a bit more delicate and quality control may not be there. I took off one star because of this, but they are well made. I don’t love that the bears ears are glued on. They are tight at first but most of them loosened up after a bit of playing with them. I hope they hold up well, luckily my son plays very gently with his toys so I’m not too worried about that. This is a great fine motor activity that’s not a traditional puzzle and is nature themed.

08-03-2026I have a different style set of these that all of our granddaughters always want to play with when they come over (and they'll fight over it lol) so we purchased these for all of our granddaughters and nieces (this one in particular for our 4 year old) for Christmas and they LOVED IT!! The colors and details are so pretty and they all have fun taking them apart and discovering the smaller one that's next! Highly recommend as a unique gift for all ages!!

08-03-2026These are so cute! I had to gently slice through the paint of one of them to open, a couple of them are pretty tight fitting but with use I think they will become easier. The painting is perfect, my Grandson will love them.

A Matryoshka doll,also known as Russian nesting doll,stacking dolls,or Russian doll,is an exquisite handmade craftwork to Russia.
These lovely nesting dolls have a long history dating back more than 100 years!
It certainly gives it a strong sense of exotic and historical culture.
This nesting doll is a set of wooden dolls of decreasing size placed one inside another.
Each of them are painted with great details,making them visually stunning in different angles.
Created in the tradition of Matryoshka folk art dolls from Russia, which originated at the end of the nineteenth century, our doll designs feature contemporary themes such as animal, sea life, and more.
Nesting dolls are made of wood, which is seasoned and dried. The wood is then turned in a lathe. Turning the doll shapes on a lathe and sizing them to fit into each other takes skill and years of woodworking experience. No precise measurements are made during the manufacture of a set of dolls. The woodworker has the intuition to know the specific sizes required.
The doll shapes then proceed to the painting area. Detailed decals are applied to some of the dolls when it is impossible to achieve intricate details by hand painting. Each doll in a set is then painted by hand with non-toxic acrylic paints. Finally a lacquer finish is applied to preserve and protect the dolls. Each nesting doll is unique because they are intricately hand painted as opposed to being mass-produced by machines.
