08-03-2026Robusta, toda em aluminio exceto a lente e o botão de ativação(borracha).Zoom é bom o suficiente pelo preço, nao espere algo preciso como as fotos.Da pra ver que se for bem cuidado vai durar bastantePerfeita pra EDC, tem várias genericas de plastico com mais lumens e outras opções que não vao durar um terço do tempo de vida dessa.

08-03-2026I like that it illuminates far and wide area. Very bright, zooms in and out if needing to focus on smaller area. The flashlight does take batteries (3 C batteries) and has some weight to it--a good thing. It also has a wrist strap, very convenient. Would buy again.

08-03-2026Feit FT1700 bought at Amazon 5/2023. Great flashlight when it lights up. By 11/2023 the switch had stopped working after a little use. Jumpered out the switch and the flashlight lights up perfectly. Switch appears to be non-repairable. Bad switch may be the reason other customers had problems with flashing or cutting off or just not lighting. I will try to get switch replacement from FEIT.com but my hopes are not high.Update Dec 2023: Contacted FEIT by e-mail and they asked for shipping address and in a few weeks they sent me a brand new one. I dismembered the tail switch and found that the push-push switch inside the tail cap was bad. Searching the web for just the switch was not productive. I am happy now. 5 stars.

08-03-2026Good: simple operation with not annoying flashing strobe mode!Good: really easy to zoom the beam sizeGood: Has a high and low output (it always turns on HIGH, then if you lightly touch the button is jumps to a lower light level--do not push the button all the way in to get to the low level)Good: has a carrying strap, unlike most other flashlightsbad: that can not possibly be 1000 lumens....seems lower than thatbad: installing the strap is not easy. you will need some fine point tweezers to stuff the strap into the tiny holei like it enough to buy another. maybe i will go with the higher lumen model....

08-03-2026I purchased this flashlight in Feb '25 and immediately installed a slightly used set of Duracell batteries into it. It seemed to work fine accept for the lack of the low power setting. It was just on/off. I had no problem with that as I only expected to use it on high anyway. When those batteries got weak I installed a freshly charged set of Ni-MH rechargeable batteries. The second I pushed the button to turn it on I got a beautiful bright flash, then it went dead. I put the weak batteries back in, nothing. I tried a new set of alkaline batteries, nothing. A freshly charged set of Ni-MH batteries killed this light dead. By the time this happened the return period of 30 days was over. Don't waste your money on this product! They won't let me give it 0 stars or I would!

08-03-2026I spent some time looking for a nice bright compact flashlight. Although there are other flashlights that advertise higher lumin values, there is a lot of false advertising coming from the marketers. This light is compact, it is sturdy built, and the quality of the light is supper good! When I say quality of light, they did a wonderful job designing the lens on this flashlight. No dark spots, the light is uniform and bright. The on/off switch on the back is easy to use. There is a focus from spot light to wide angel that is easy to adjust with one finger. Worth the money, so much so that I bought a second light to keep as a backup for my motorcycle.Lastly, I made a neoprene jacket for the light, a cup holder insulator with magnets in it that I cut apart for this application. Supper glued the neoprene together, now the flashlight is insulated so the aluminum does not make my hand cold in Montana. And the magnets in the neoprene make it so I can store the flashlight on my fridge or any metal surface.
