08-03-2026I have an iPhone 15 plus and wanted something solid that I could put my phone on so I would notice calls while at my desk at work.I ordered the Bluish Gray color because the purple was going to take several weeks to arrive and I didn't care enough to wait that long.This stand works perfectly and is very sturdy. It arrived undamaged when shipped in the same Amazon box containing 2 - boxed 12 packs of soda that were damaged during shipment.The ledge fits my phone nicely, and even has a little room to spare with my phone in a simple clear case. The ledge also has rubber to grip that will hold your phone where you place it. The fixed position and height does not bother me, I only really care to notice that I have received a message or having an incoming call.

The best part about it is that the part that holds your phone is wide enough so that you don’t have to take your phone out of its case to use the stand. I also like the fact that there are soft pads on the phone holder part and the bottom of the stand so your phone and the surface the phone stand is put on will not get scratched.

08-03-2026I had already ordered and received 2 of the previous versions for Christmas gifts and these were quite satisfactory for their purpose of holding a regular-sized cellphone which is not clad in a bulky leather case. This new (2020) model is somewhat larger in all dimensions and is very sturdy with the lip (cradle) of the base where the cellphone or tablet sits, wider than the older model. The dock itself appears to be formed from a solid, single thick piece of bent aluminum and is quite robust. There are rubber, non-slip pads glued to the underside to keep the dock from sliding about or marring surfaces. I can see this item lasting many years under normal everyday use. It's perfect for my wife's Samsung Galaxy S2 tablet, which already is in a leatherette sleeve.
