08-03-2026This stand replaces another one that had right angle support forks that turned up, unfortunately blocking the lower edge of my phone screen, and making it difficult to press that area with a finger. Apparently not many stands have forks that don't turn up; it took a lot of searching to find this. Very solid build quality and weight holds the phone securely in place with ratcheted adjustment screws. It's easy to find the perfect viewing position for the phone and it's also easy to turn the phone sideways for horizontal viewing. i've also used this stand to securely position the phone at the optimum angle for taking pictures.

Very easy to adj height & slant!Disliked: Of 2 purchased (husband/wife) a heavy (male) grip resulted in t breakage of a .070” dia internal ‘spindle’ for t ‘pawl’ that the release button actuates. I disassembled fixed AND LUBED w silicon super lube (both stands). Failure resulted from inadequate internal lubricant. Once lubed internally, THESE ARE FANTASTIC & robust … a whole new pleasure!!!
