08-03-2026Have a kid that hates wearing 'coats' and bulk but u need something to keep him warm? Well then this is the jacket for u my friend!! I would include a pic with this review, but unfort my son's jacket was so awesome that another kid at school apparently decided to take it for himself...bummer..but ig that kid needed it more than we do if he's gonna resort to stealing it..gonna have to buy him a new one cuz that was his favorite jacket by far plus it was so thick and warm (without looking bulky) that it was the only one he would wear on those cold days..For some reason my kiddo refuses to wear winter 'coats' these days (but he loves hoodies but most hoodies aren't warm enough to replace a coat), but with this jacket that was ok cuz it was thick/warm enough to b used instead of his winter coat!! The size 12 was perfect for my 9/10yr old (I actually bought it late last winter so he used it some last yr and like 2.5-3 months this yr before it was gone), it had some xtra room as we tend to want in jackets, but not too much (which is good cuz he will refuse to wear it if it's too big looking or of course too small feeling).. The price is a bit higher than some of the other jackets, but they seemed to have quality issues on the reviews and this one does not have issues, so it is worth paying a bit xtra for it..previously we had actually bought another jacket on Amazon that looked alot like this one on the pics and was like 20 bucks cheaper, but it ended up being SUPER thin even tho it had the 'sherpa' n stuff (it was like a thin barely-sherpa lining on a thin jacket, weird, whereas this jacket is thick sherpa on a thick outter layer), it was a waaay lower quality jacket that would NOT keep him warm on cold days like this one does (not to mention the Sherpa on this one was way softer n fluffier than the other also), this one is so warm it honestly replaces a winter coat (unlike the other) which is what we were looking for!! We definitely recommend this one, it's tot worth it.. We had no issues with stiching or the zipper or anything coming apart or anything getting messed up during washes (we got the black one, which he loved, and it didn't fade or anything) and he used it for a good few months with quite a bit of washings before losing it (I had washed it alot, almost every day that he wore it, cuz it was sooo comfy that he never wanted to take it off, so even if he got hot inside school he would usually keep it on the whole day, thus sweating in it making it stinky n needing to b washed quite frequently)..I have no complaints about this jacket..it really was the perfect jacket, def gotta get another!! Once I get another I will add some pics (just trying to decide if I should bother getting one rn this late in the winter or just wait till next winter, as it really hasn't been cold at all lately anyways, n he grows so much, might b better to just wait then get a larger size next winter)..we say go for it with this jacket, u won't b disappointed!!!!

08-03-2026Exact fit and extremely soft on the inside. If you're buying for a chilled, I would buy one size larger than what they currently wear. The jacket I got was exact fit for a child that wears size 10.

08-03-2026My 8yr old boy is under 60lbs and usually in a size 8 for clothing with a little extra room. I'm glad I sized up for him to a 10 because it would have been too small in the 8. It's well made for a reasonable price and seems pretty warm for a hoodie in Colorado winter. Thick material, warm, fuzzy lining. I would buy it again just make sure I size up. My son loves the color and style.

I think the inner lining is very soft and comfortable, and the outer fabric is that of a normal thick hoodie.
