08-03-2026I purchased this item to use in a CNC router. It gets the job done. Sturdy and so far reliable. however it does get a bit too hot for my liking, not sure if it is a defect. Noise and vibrations are quite high too. the on/off switch is a bit awkward to use.

Still using it, so we'll see just how long it will last, and how good it will work.I am just using it on a few around the house projects, nothing major and I do not run it for a long period of time.

08-03-2026The router is fine and appropriate for the beginning woodworker. However, I would have given it five stars if the manual was better written. For example, here's a very typical sentence in the "Maintenance Instruction": Shearing machine for the first time to use the air in cylinder should be ruled out before, quick joint connection to clean the dust and dirt on the joint, before use to should take put down gently, not collision phenomenon. Use to packing after save, place in dry, temperature is appropriate. Special note: tubing for use for a long time are prone to aging, often should check the replacement maintenance on a rugular basis.All of this is even more comical since the face page of the "manual" has the followng: Read through carefully and understand these instructions before use. Well, I can't understand "these instructions" at all and the manual is of no use.Would I buy this again? No. I'm returning it.

1. Moving the tool forward too quickly may result in poor cutting quality. or damage to the tool or motor, While moving it too slowly may cause heating and inadequate cutting performance. The appropriate feed rate will depend on the size of the tool, type of workpiece, and cutting depth. Before cutting on an actual workpiece, it is best to first try a test cut on a piece of scrap wood. This will accurately tell you the cutting performance and allow you to check the dimensions.
2. Due to excessive cutting that can cause motor overload or tool uncontrollability, when performing groove cutting. Multiple passes can be carried out to achieve a deeper cutting purpose.
Regularly remove the carbon brushes for inspection. When the carbon brush is worn down to the limit wear line, it needs to be replaced. The carbon brush should be kept clean to ensure that it can slide freely into the carbon brush holder.
