These socks are awesome and they might be the best socks I have ever bought actually because they're comfortable and fit good and feel sturdy and I think they will last a while so I think they're a good buy for the money for sure!

I've been buying these socks for over ten years, but at stores. This is the first time I bought them online through Amazon. (Incidentally, I bought the size 12-14 version.) The one major difference I noticed right away is how the stitching and material of the lower portion of the sock (ankle to toe) is decidedly different than the upper portion (calf). The lower portion is as I expected it- roomy, supportive, with the right amount of material, not too thick or thin. They fit my (wide) feet nicely. The upper portion, on the other hand, is now decidedly thinner, which doesn't bother me, but what is cause for concern is how tight the elastic is. It is a challenge getting this portion past my foot and up my calf. Because it is so tight, it grips my lower leg to the point that it is consistently squeezing it, not just holding against it. I'm hoping that, in time, the elastic material will weaken a bit to make the socks, overall, as comfortable as they've always been in the past.

Very comfortable, cushioned bottom and sole area, less chance of wear through at heel, since they are new feel very form fitting and supportive of calf area. Good quality material, well made- no threads hanging.

They are nice socks but they are not crew. They could be over my knee if I pulled them all the way up. Am I the only one that figured this out. I won’t return them I won’t need long Johns this winter.

Great fit, excellent quality and durable. They go all the way up to just below your knees, several inches higher than my Dickies socks and are thinner than them as well. Overall, great socks at a good price.

Bought the 6 pack size 12-14. These are barely able to fit a size 12. I tried them on prior to washing to see if they would shrink in the wash. They did and now they cut off circulation to my feet. Can't wear these and I'm at a loss for what to do next. Order a size 16 to fit a 12? What's going on with sock sizes? This is becoming a trend with amazon clothing purchases.
