Kept me from slipping on snow and ice even though I don't have snow shoes. They buckled my flip flops so I could only wear them with my rain boots, but that is probably closer to what everyone is using them for. I was also able to wear them indoors a little, which was needed because, it is difficult to manipulate them with cold hands. I used them without the nylon straps and they came off once or twice on stairs, I think from my shoe flexing, but it was easy to go back and collect them. They were also very portable for travel.

I just received these and haven’t had the occasion to use them yet but, the quality seems comparable to yak trax. This review may change according to how well they work and in Montana they need to work well. ❄️

Last update: I got about 35 miles before one of the heel straps broke. They still work, but one is not long for this world. Trying to decide if I will buy another set or some better ones.The velcro straps are totally useless which tainted my initial impression big time. I've got about 20 miles on mine and they are holding up pretty well. The grippy springs are showing wear but there is about 20% bare pavement right now so that's probably to be expected. They are quite tight on size 11 shoes which is good for staying on but they are a pain to take on and off. Overall pretty good because the traction is excellent.Might last for a couple of short walks. These pretty flimsy. The boots in the pic must be pretty small.The velcro straps are totally useless because the fuzzy bit is the same length as the pokey bit so the effective length is only half, which is less than what you need. I rolled the dice because I have some other cleats that I needed velcro straps for... total fail in that regard. I should just return them, but I don't feel like risking a fall getting to the post office, and I'm not frail, it's just really ephing slippery out.

Needed these for a last minute snow hike with friends. They came so FAST! Sfee Ice cleats were super easy to put on my boots. The fit was perfect. I wear a 39 and my partner is 40. We ordered based on the recommendations from the listing. The fit was true. We were on Cyprus Mtn in Vancouver on a packed trail. It wasn't deep enough for snowshoes, but just boots wouldn't have had enough grip. The Ice cleats were perfect for the conditions. It was steep in places, but the ice cleats gripped with no problem. Neither of us had any slipping uphill or downhill. Comes with straps to ensure they don't come loose during your hike and a good carry case to keep them organized in your pack. Lightweight and compact. Great product at great price

I purchased size medium for my ladies size 9 hiking shoe. Great fit, super easy to put on and the rings rather than spikes make them easy to handle. Love the added carrying pouch and the Velcro straps are in my opinion a must have. I hiked on some very icy, hilly terrain without them and had a rather tough time almost turning back. I purchased these as soon as I got home. Received them 2 days later and went on the same hike. Game changer! I was sure footed and barely looked at my feet for the rest of the walk. Amazed at how well they grip even on slick ice! Extremely impressed!! One of my better investments for sure.Unfortunately, when putting them on my shoes for only my second hike with them, a piece of rubber was completely severed. I can understand a product wearing out over time, but I only wore them once, for 1 1/2 hours on a fairly easy hike.I would have rated 5 stars otherwise but sadly I will be returning these for a refund.

These arrived early January and didn't make it thru the month. To be fair, I walk 3 miles a day - some on pavement. This was the month when many states got hit with the polar vortex and I am in one of them. The ice on my walking route was terrible. Because I start my walk early morning in the dark, I kept them on the whole way for safety. They obviously are not meant for this amount of use - but, I will say that while they lasted, they were very secure on my feet and gave me great traction. It was very reassuring to have them on. I have had other versions that I have had issues keeping on my feet - and would walk right out of them - but the velcro strap on these keeps them on securely. I have ordered another pair to hopefully get me thru to a thaw but I will be looking for something more durable for next year.

Followed the size chart and bought the mediums -no large available-which completely were way too small for my boots. So I stuck with what I got a few years ago- Yaktrax...got the medium and totally fit.

My wife and I use these for shoveling snow that lands after rain, or wet snow that freezes close to the driveway. Especially on a downhill grade.

I need these to walk the dog on icy days. I just reordered a new pair. They won't last forever but the last pair lasted about two years, which I think is pretty decent.Before these coils I had the cleat style ice grips which I did not like. A lot are like cleats where the spikes are more in the middle. I have had many previous ankle sprains and I don't feel that style is stable enough for me. These coils spread out across the whole boot bottom so they are more stable.

Had a pair of yaks, ripped at toe after 2 yrs. These are same as yaks but cheaper. Save the money

I was delighted with the cleats the first 2 times I used them. The third time 2 of the coils broke.. I fixed them as best as I could. Unfortunately, the repair did not work. The same coils broke again the very next time with one embedding itself in the bottom of the shoe. Furthermore, I noticed that a third coil had broken. At this point the cleats were virtually useless, and even unsafe, so I discarded them.
