You can't have too many compact aluminum flashlights - I keep telling myself that since I have so many. So I added a turquoise Gorilla to my collection. This is a nice solid little light. It's got a good zoom and decent light power. It's not too small so you can get a grip on it. It has the usual features of recessed back button switch - and a wrist lanyard. You can stand it up on its "bottom" to cast an overhead light. The three AAA battery insert is typical of the new format (with pin at the positive end) so you can actually get a replacement (or plenty on Amazon) if you need one. The Cree light should last longer than I do, and it doesn't consume much juice or generate excess heat. This is a solid little tool, and the color choices are a clever marketing choice by Gorilla - who strike me as being good at that sort of thing. I anticipate some female wanting to steal this nice looking light from me - I will tell her to get her own (or I will have to get another one for her and maybe more for her friends)! I like this flashlight. If you are new to such devices - get at least two. They are life savers in an emergency and you can use them in self defense in a pinch. They also make great gifts - and children should also carry them whenever they travel at night. Start them young with good habits - like seeing where you are going and knowing how to get out of places in the dark. Easy to use, and better than a cell phone light. I got a deal on mine. I carry such a light at all times, everywhere.
Best flashlight. Small but powerful and very sturdy.
This is a great little flashlight. It has a powerful beam and will do "tricks" if you press the on/off button different ways. I use it mainly to read the caller ID display on my phone. The thing I like about it the most is its color. I got the orange selection and it is easy to find. It looks good on my cabinet. They have so many great colors to choose from, it made it hard to decide. I can't see how you wouldn't be happy with one of these around your house.
This is my second set of two of these flashlights. They are 3 AAA battery flashlights, they have a bright light, the light is 'zoomable', they are very well made, have rubber seals around the openings (doesn't mean the are waterproof but does help with water resistant.). They have the usual push switch on the back that gives you a solid on and off. If you push it more than once it cycles through high, medium, low, strobe and SOS. They have survived drops from the top of the car to road, but barely a scratch and still worked. At the price today - these things are only six or seven dollars each - a lot of bang for the buck.I had two for the house and they ended up in two of my vehicles on a 'permanent' basis. So I purchased two more for the house - keep one at the front door and one at the back door. You get a lot of flashlight with several nice features for a reasonable cost. And these are yet another quality product from Gorilla Grip - there products are generally very good. One last thing - I always use lithium cells in my flashlight they never leak (or at least not yet). I got tired of picking up a flashlight that I have not used for a long time, it does not work, I dump out the batteries and one or more has leaked, then I have to clean up the contacts. Lithium batteries for me - a little more expensive but they have been worth it.
Works as expected. Batteries don't last forever but long enough. Build quality seems solid but tbh it hasn't had a solid drop to compare. So far so good
Very good value for the price. Very bright, even, focusable light. Controls are a little different than other LED flashlights, but they work very well.
Great size, easy to operate and the light is very bright. Purchased this to go in a car glove box. handle is easy to grip. Could easily be thrown in to a purse or packpack. I chose yellow outside so that it is easy to find. Highly recommend
Powerful compact flashlight that is perfect for walking our dogs before dawn and after sunset during the summer. A couple of packs of coyotes are running around so the strobe effect is a great addition and the button is smooth cycling through the 3 settings. For a small as it is, it's pretty heavy, I've already dropped it twice on the sidewalk and it still works, so it's durable. The beam of light reaches 50-60 yards. Batteries are easy to change. One of the more convenient features is that it doesn't give off to much heat.
The Gorilla flashlight is terrific! It's very very bright. I take it to walk my dogs at night & it lights the way. It's small & easy to carry too!
