El reloj es muy bonito y estético, pero en funcionalidad no es nada bueno los botones fueron muy mal planeados muy difícil de poner la luz y se presionan solos muy fácilmente
The watch is fantastic…low profile…sleek and easy to read. The buttons are horrendous!!! Cannot tell when they are pushed. Need to push them both at the same time for the light…..then have no idea what the display is.Very disappointing as the watch is great. Buttons are completely useless!!!!!
Great quality. Not too big or small. Handsome shape. Great light up colors. Easy to read. Buttons are a little tough/ resistant to push is all.
I don’t review often, but i felt that this piece deserves an honest appraisal. In short, this watch is absolutely not worth the $150 MSRP. And I still think that I would’ve been disappointed if it was half the price, but maybe then I could have at least provided the watch 2 stars. The watch is aesthetically pleasing and the case design and machining is good. It’s a good watch to look at. Because of this, I want to like this watch, but it’s impossible to justify the cost. If you are looking for intuitive, functionality, frankly ANY other watchmaker provides a better design/layout. I’m serious. For me, the functionality is just so bad that it destroys any pleasure I may take from the watch. I had the watch for a total of about an hour and a half before returning it to the UPS store.Pros- Screen is quite crisp and legible, which is surprising for a negative display. No gripes there. The case is very pleasing aesthetically. Low profile and comfortable. The lugs are downturned and hug the wrist. Would likely make the watch quite comfortable. The machining on the pushers look pleasant as well. And that’s about it actually…Now for the cons- The module functionality, intuitiveness and button layout is pretty bad. Actually, it’s awful. This has been covered pretty extensively by many other users. I went into this purchase optimistic, hoping that maybe people were just being nitpicky. No, no, the button functionality is comically bad. The tactile “feel” of the buttons is just shameful. The ‘A’ button has a slight indent or click with its actuation. The ‘B’ pusher has none and ranges from “did I press it?” to “I don’t want to damage it”. I’m left feeling surprised when I can fully cycle through the modes without the “B” pusher glitching. You will be lucky if you can trigger the backlight without switching modes. It honestly renders the watch functionally useless. Barring button function, the module/brain, whatever you choose to call it (meaning the operations of the watch and how to control it) has a poor layout and is difficult to program and use. I would argue that with Times/Casio you can almost figure out programming on your own. Here, your left scratching your head. I have a pretty extensive collection of digital Casios/Timex’s and this module is honestly the worst I’ve ever experienced.I’m left feeling that I wouldn’t recommend this watch or any in the Nixon line for that matter based on the presentation here. If this is what Nixon considers quality… stay away. It’s like they designed a very pleasing physical product on CAD, but then purchased the cheapest module possible. The buttons… I just can figure out. How are they so bad?In closing, if you care nothing about functionality, and want to over pay for a pleasing looking watch, then you won’t be disappointed. But if you care anything about functionality, go for anything else.

I decided to write this review and provide all these pictures because when I first researched this watch from Nixon, there was shockingly little user review and content about it. I ended up ordering 2 to see which one I like better, the silver variant and the surplus variant. The watch itself is very comfortable and lightweight making it a great every day watch. I really like this watch overall but this is one of those watches that falls into the "fashion watch" category. It is very simple to use and understand, and has ONLY 3 timekeeping functions: Time/Date, stopwatch, countdown timer. There is no daily alarm which I find to be a shame and is the reason for -1 star. This watch could have easily have had an alarm included. Nixon's watches usually have buttons that you have to give a good firm press to activate, but with this watch, the buttons are actually on the sensitive side. You really don't have to press very hard at all to get it to work. It sometimes even registers multiple presses when you mean to only press once, but I don't see this as the end of the world. I have also read other reviews that say they have trouble getting the pushers to work, and to that I have to say they must have a defective unit, because the two I ordered work exactly the same.I use the phrase fashion watch because it is marketed as a sports watch but there are simply better offerings out there that will do more physical activity related things. I've included pictures of the "Heat" lined up next to Nixon's own "Rerun" and "Regulus" as well as a G-Shock DW5600. The two on the right are my recommendations for those who want more complete functionality and durability. For the price of the "Heat" it's a little hard to justify. I rated it so high because just like the "Rerun" I really like the look and feel of it when it's on my wrist. For ME its worth it, but for OTHERS they may not agree. I hope all this information is helpful in guiding those who are unsure or want to know more.
L'orologio non rispetta le più minime aspettative. Nessuna retroilluminazione.Le funzioni di cronometro e timer sono praticamente inutulizzabili a causa dei tasti con uno scarsissimo feedback. Purtroppo non posso renderlo. Orologio inutilizzabile.
*"It’s a good watch with a nice design. However, I feel it should at least have a light or an option to illuminate the display so you can see the time at night. That feature is essential, and unfortunately, it’s missing. Please take note for the next edition of this beautiful watch."*
