I love my kettle, it works great, boils water very fast, is easy to clean, you can tell the good quality and it’s been working for several months now.

This kettle is great and very easy to use. It's a quality item for the price. The water heats up in no time and lets you know when the water is ready. It beeps and the color on the bottom turns from blue to white when the water is ready.

This electric kettle is SO GREAT!!! I was boiling water using an old fashioned tea kettle. When the kettle wore down, I used a regular cooking pot to boil water. That is, until I find this handy electric kettle! It literally takes about 3 minutes to warm up, it has an awesome blue light that tells you it’s still on. It’s sturdy and there was no plastic smell from the plastic components. The kettle itself is glass, so be careful when handwashing it.Can’t stick in the dishwasher as it’s electric. It also has a built in screen type filter at the spout which filters out any debris that may have snuck its way into the kettle.I love this thing and use it to make pour-over coffee and/or tea!

Love this. Quick. Easy to use. Pretty. Easy to store off to side. So far really good. Quick heat up, no smell. Love the pretty blue lights then the auto shut off. Easy to turn on. Lift and it turns iff if nit auto shut down before hand.

This is not true about the no plastic contact with water, there is indeed plastic inside the lid!

My girlfriend has Crohn's disease & this has been used daily to fill her water bottles as tub water isn't enough while the stove takes too long.It takes 3 minutes to boil, 4 max. It looks nice. I was supposed to get a clear one, but I received a black one instead. I'm not upset over the mistake in this case, but it did come off poorly as I got it on sale only for the next day everything but the one I chose was on sale (& that's what they gave me). IDK if that was intentionally a bait & switch or if it was an honest mistake. I'd adjust this review if I knew. It said 25 when it was originally 55, & I have no clue if they sent me the worse one or did me a favor by giving me plastic instead of the clear glass option I had chosen.No complaints of leakage yet. No use for the mesh tea attachment as loose leaf tea is meh.Boil speed | Water temperature | style

This electric kettle is great! It heats up the water fast, within a couple of minutes. The kettle is well made and solid. The base is plastic and very lightweight which doesn't seem very durable, but I have not had any issues with it and have been using it for a couple of months now. I like that the carafe glass and stainless steel, so there is zero plastic coming into contact with the heated water. It is very easy to use - - press down the tab. It will pop up when it is done heating. If you lift the carafe up before it is completely done, the tab will pop up, so you do not have to wait until it has gone through the entire heating cycle to use the water.

OK, after reading through the reviews and the complaints about the perforated metal piece on the spout, it's engineered this way to boil water. What do we mean by this?This perforated spout keeps the heat in the kettle so that the water will actually boil in your lifetime. How do we know? We removed this perforated stainless spout and discovered that it took at least 3x longer for the water to boil and sometimes it didn't fully boil at all. It's basic physics. Now that we've covered this...We really like this kettle. Fast boil and works as it should. Appreciated that the kettle is all glass with the rest of the areas toughing the water stainless steel. Like it so much we now have back-up of same. Oh, and it's really a nice bright red, which we like, too.For kettle longevity, we now use only reverse osmosis carbon filtered water (hard water region), and we remove the kettle from its base after boiling to allow the ECU to cool down completely. With the new ECU boards in everything instead of old-fashioned, reliable and easily replaced fuses, we realized that removing the kettle from its base after a boil will help improve its lifespan. We now do the same with our countertop toaster by leaving open the door after a toast. Otherwise, the amount of insulation to prevent the ECU's from melting, which is why these products fail usually within 2 years, would mean some gigantic 'small' kitchen appliances.
