08-03-2026I am using these to help keep my pool cover in place. The painted surface is smooth and durable so no worries that they may damage my liner. The small tab at the top however is not coated and seems to be reacting with the pool water. Understanding these are mainly for fishing, cant fault the product. I just wish the whole tab was also coated. Overall, works as advertised.

08-03-2026I do not plan to use these sinkers for fishing. I have a bunch of bird feeders in my yard that blow around in the Arizona winds. I plan to attach the sinkers to the bottom of the feeders to help slow down their swaying in the wind - especially the hummingbird feeder. I bought these particular sinkers because I liked the way they look and thought they would be more unique than the typical lead sinkers.

08-03-2026Great size, weight and shape and lead free. I purchased these to hold the lids down on my wine fermenters. They were not protected enough for shipping and all of them had broken off and or chipped coatings. I may recoat with an epoxy coating, so they do not rust.

08-03-2026I have an older car which sits under a cover. The cover has to span space between the bumper and the car body and when it rains always collects water and creates a pool. To stop this from happening I use binder clips, a short bit of electrical wire which is fastened to these weight and clipped to the bottom of the cover. it is just enough weight to pull the cover tight and prevent water from pooling. These are covered with a pleasant green coating which also keeps them from rusting.

08-03-2026I use these for fishing chicken rigs in very heavy structure.If you're concerned about adding lead to the environment, then these are the ticket. They hold their shape better than lead when bashed on the rocks and I like the bright blue color when fishing in cloudy water and rough surf.I have purchased these sinkers several times as they are pretty much the only sinkers I use for fishing heavy structure.Note. They are balls, so they roll. They don't hold in fast currents, rips, or on drifts. Depending on how you fish, this can be a real boon or a real detriment.
