The sneaker that hits the target on comfort and style. The Center lace-up is that kind of hard-to-find comfort sneaker that looks great on everyone. The rounded toe shape and sleek fit have a flattering effect, while soft canvas, extra cushioning around the ankle, and memory foam footbeds provide an already-broken-in feel straight out of the box. It’s the kind of shoe that energizes you to get moving and supports you when you decide to go the extra mile.
You know that episode of Friends where Monica buys a cute pair of boots and tells Chandler they’ll go with everything and she’ll wear them all the time, but when she actually does wear them, they hurt her feet so badly that Chandler has to piggyback her home? Yeah, these Keds are to me what those boots were to Monica. They’re so cute and they go with everything, but dear lord are they painful! I’ve had them for a month and have worn them every 2-3 days, thinking I’d eventually break them in or develop the callouses to make them tolerable. Oh how wrong I have been. I didn’t realize it was possible for blisters to develop on top of each other, but my pinky toes show that it indeed is. My heels have open wounds that hurt when I put on socks. I have tried toe covers for blister prevention. I have put inserts along the backs of the shoes that’s supposed to keep my heels from rubbing up against the shoe. I have tried thick socks. I have tried baby powder. Literally every tool one can use to protect their feet, I have tried. Thank god for blister seal bandaids! I live in a city where people walk everywhere, and I have - on more than 1 occasion - had to take a taxi home b/c I couldn’t walk any further in the shoes. I wasn’t going to write a review, but this morning I was wearing the Keds while walking my dog to doggy daycare and suddenly felt a tremendous pain on my foot and noticed that a surprise blister (aka blisters I didn’t know I had formed) on my heel had started bleeding. It’s really difficult to get a cab when you have a dog, and Uber Pet rides are ridiculously expensive. So in order to make it the rest of the way to his doggy daycare, I had to hobble my way to the closest CVS and buy more bandaids. (Side note: shout out to the workers at CVS who let me bring my dog inside). It was while I was in the checkout line with my bloody, throbbing foot that I realized I should probably warn other people about this. Now like I said, these Keds are super cute and go with any outfit. Are they also excruciatingly painful? Yes. Have they ripped my feet apart? Also yes. But am I going to keep wearing them when my outfit calls for them? Yes. But only when walking short distances or am with someone who I can get a piggyback me everywhere, and I’ll make sure to bring a backup pair of flip flops and a stash of bandaids.
El tono es perfecto un gris que no es claro ni oscuro.Aunque la suela parece delgada el calzado es muy cómodo y el diseño bonito.
Super cute and comfy!
I bought these gray striped Keds for a 2 week trip to London. I have a couple pairs of water-resistant Keds that I love but are not great spring shoes. I got the size 9, which is what I wear in my other Keds. These size 9's were a bit larger than my other Keds. I thought, at first, that I would have to return them, but I tried them for a couple days at home and they seemed fine. The real test was my trip to London, and these shoes were THE BEST! I walked between 5-10 miles around the city everyday and these shoes were fabulous. It was actually good that they were slightly too big (my feet always swell after hours on my feet and then my shoes start to bother me), but these cute shoes never hurt my feet or gave me blisters. The thick padding on the heel was incredibly comfortable and never rubbed. I also wear an insert with all of my shoes and the insert fit perfectly in the shoes. Another thing I love about Keds is the shoelaces. Every other pair of lace shoes I own need to be double knotted to keep them from untying, but Keds shoelaces never come untied with a single. They are also the cutest shoes ever! I have gotten many compliments. And, the price is absolutely awesome. The only slight negative with these shoes is that they are canvas and very light (basically white) and I picked up a lot of dirt while tromping around the city, but that doesn't really bother me. I plan on buying more colors. Overall, these are my new favorite shoes!!!!!
So cute and comfy
I like th we shoes a lot. Very comfy, solid and cute. Size is appropriate.
Comfy shoes and fit well
My first pair of Keds. Chose my size based on the size chart from website and it fits me well. Very comfortable and love the colour very much.
This is my first pair of Keds and so far I am happy with the simplicity of the design and the cushioned footbed. Amazon recommended a size 7.5 and I had to return them because they were too small. I ordered my normal size 8 and they are true to size. I’ll see how well they hold up and possibly order another pair in a different color.
Keds are the shoe I most associate with my mother. I don't even know that she wore Keds all that often, but I distinctly remember her narrow, lace up sneakers that she wore around the house when I was quite small. Now that I'm around the age she was then, I found myself in need of an around the house shoe. Something to wear when I have domestic chores I don't want my adhd brain to dismiss. My Keds anchor my mind and remind me that I still have things to do, and weirdly motivate me to get up and do them instead of sinking into ambivalence.Because of the construction of the shoe and where the laces are, I have found that I hardly even need to untie them, but am able to slip them on and off with little maneuvering. As I really only wear them inside the house, they've remained relatively clean, but all they seem to need is a damp cloth to wipe off anything that might spill on them.I have found these sneakers to be very comfortable, the soles have a slight squish to them that is very comfortable and I have not experienced any sort of pain or blister since I started wearing them. SO far I am very pleased with their construction, I expect they'll hold together for some time. I have a tendency to wear shoes into tatters before getting rid of them and I expect these to last a few years at least -- which, for the price, is excellent. The neutral medium-gray is quite nice. It's sort of mottled so it resembles denim and reminds me of a stormy sky over the ocean.
Very comfortable
Love the grey color, works with shorts and jeans. Excellent value and fit, can wear them all day. They have sturdy soles and not that so-called memory foam that collapses in other shoes. I have them in several colors, very comfortable.
De piel conservadores y muy cómodos me gustaron mucho.
