I’m a big fan of this brand and own several of their colors, along with their base and top coats. The Nude Jelly set has a beautiful range of shades, and you can definitely achieve different tones from each bottle depending on how many coats you apply. That said, getting those thinner coats to go on evenly can be tricky as they tend to streak. The polishes perform much better with multiple layers, though that does narrow the shade range a bit.Unfortunately, this particular set was a letdown. Several of the bottles had a chunky texture—almost like when milk scalds, which made them difficult to use. I’m not sure if the set was old, previously opened, or just a bad batch, but I tried them a few times with the same result. Sadly, this was my first disappointing experience with Gaoy.

Very pretty colors and they match the photo well. The gel cures nicely and doesn’t leave a sticky residue so I never felt the need for a top coat. I haven’t used the polish on natural nails though I have only done them on fake nails. One layer is a bit too sheer for me but two balances a beautiful middle of color and transparent. I feel like this could honestly cost more so the value is there for sure. If you don’t know what type of pinky buds you need/want I feel like this had a nice variety since most pinks are too pink or light for my complexion(I wear light/medium foundation color if that helps and am Latina).

Love, love, love this polish. I've been using another popular brand of gel polish and wasn't happy with the colors, and consistency. This was so smooth, went on easy, dried well, and the colors are perfect! It's a great deal if you want to do your own gel. Big bottles. I used my SUNUV lamp and it cut my manicure time down. Only 4 stars until I see how it lasts. If I get 2 weeks for this price I will not buy anything else. I also bought the nail builder for strength and the top and base coats and got 10 bottles of polish.. Cost me less than 4 bottles of the other brand. other brand.

The color of these polishes are so pretty and they last! I’m still very much a beginner so there might be some lifting as I do not do much for nail prep, I just spritz some rubbing alcohol and that seems to work fine for me. Overall the shine on top of the jelly colors are so beautiful and there are different shades. The lighter colors might seem similar but they are slightly darker than one another and you can tell when you swatch these and paint these on your nails. They do not budge as I spent three days moving furniture, cleaning, and building new furniture. I’ve also jammed my fingers a couple times - yikes, but again no chipping or dents !

i love this brand. great value for money, great pigments, cures well, and lasts. they’re small bottles but it’s perfect when trying new colors or needing a variety. i have so many of their nude jelly polishes- when i needed to upgrade my fall color palette i knew exactly which brand i was going for. they never disappoint!!

I really like this gel polish set—the earth tone colors are so pretty and versatile. What I love most is how you can control the shade depending on how many coats you use. One coat gives a softer, lighter look, and adding more coats makes it richer and darker. It goes on smooth, cures and dries well, and lasts nicely. The one I used in my video was the brightest shade #1624. Definitely one of my favorite polish sets!

I bought the rose garden set to add to my collection. I have quite a lot of gel polishes from various companies, and have been doing gel on bare nails and on gelx extensions for about 4 years. The colors are well-represented by the swatch photos - the two darkest are very jelly-like, while the lighter 4 are milkier, but still with good transparency. They came nicely packed and are a decent size (unlike the occasional super tiny bottles that come in these sets), and have a great consistency. With all jelly/transparent colors, it can be challenging to get an even coat of color, but after a few coats I'm very pleased.I'm currently wearing the red wine color on my bare toenails and gelx fingernails, so I'll update regarding longevity, but I suspect it will last a few weeks until it's grown out and I'm ready to change the color. (update: they did!) For those in the reviews who are having trouble with chipping, here are some tips:Prep:- Rough up the surface of your nails to give the gel something to adhere to, then use a dehydrating primer to prep the nail. If the nails are slick, of even have a little bit of natural oils, you'll have issues getting any polish to stay.Painting:-Make sure to paint the tip of the nail as well, not just the top. This will help prevent lifting, and generally look nicer.-Use a thin layer of base coat, cure for 60s, and don't wipe the surface with anything-Repeat for each coat of color, cleaning up the edges around the cuticle with a wooden stick/ small stiff brush dipped in acetone-Add a top coat, and cure for 90s. Do NOT add a second layer of top coat, as it won't adhere well. If you need to add another layer of top coat, you must rough up the surface with a file again.Removal:-If you want to try an acetone soak, rough up the surface with a file/efile before you start. You can use a bowl, or dip cotton in acetone, apply, and wrap in foil. Expect to soak for at least 15 minutes, possibly more than once.-I use an efile to remove all of the polish (and my gelx extensions) but it is very easy to accidentally file your natural nail down. If you aren't sure, take off as much as you can safely with the efile, then soak off the rest.If they're still chipping, consider whether your natural nails are thin and flexible - if you imagine bending an object with paint on it, it's natural for that paint to chip under stress. Consider strengthening/stiffening your nail with an extension or a layer of builder gel to increase wear time.

You know.... I like the colors but when I searched them I don't think they really reflected the description or photos. I like the colors but it wasn't the way I envisioned them so I have to change my designs a bit.I personally don't think they are super jelly like but I can also be applying them wrong. They are also super sticky when I cure them so....beware
