This is a great primer. It feels so soft and silky when applying and it does make a difference after applying make up. I will purchase again.
Have only had product for a few days so I’m still working out if the cream makes any difference to my skin
Great product at a great price and super fast delivery.
This primer is great. I haven’t tied too many primers but in my experience they tend to be drying. I was so glad when I saw that they offered a hydrating version and I definitely do feel as if it adds just a hint of hydration before I apply my foundation. It is not scented which I like. The consistency is not too thick and I think it’s listed at a reasonable price point.
Laura Geller is a recognized name in the make-up/beauty products industry. I have been using her products for many years now and they are very good and age friendly. In my opinion, Laura’s products are very kind to mature ladies like myself who do not want to accentuate fine lines. This primer is excellent and I plan to repurchase it in the future.
Have never used primer as I'm very new to doing make up. This went so smoothly on my face. No irritation, no funny smells, no smells at all. Just perfect. Foundation and powder came out spotless .I must say tho, the pump is very tricky. It took me some time to figure out how to get it out. It won't come out the conventional way which is to just press the pump right? With this, you have to press the tube and the pump together. But this, i will highly recommend. I've never loved my make up so much like today's. Now i know the power of primer. Laura Geller has been so good to me. Their powder is flawless on my face, I've got their concealer too. Very nice.UPDATE: 26.2.24 The pump finally figured out how to work. Now I no longer have to press the body of the tube as well as the pump. Just the pump. Makes my life easy ♀️. I believe it may have been blocked initially especially we don't know how long it was sitting in the box before I bought it. It's fine now. Was fine a long time ago, just that I didn't have time to come back and update.
I went into this primer with high hopes. My undereyes are basically a desert wasteland where concealer goes to die. Patchy? Check. Settling into fine lines? Double check. So when I saw the words “Hydrate” and “Spackle,” I thought, Finally—someone made makeup cement for grown-ups.Well… not exactly. This stuff is hydrating, yes. Like, really hydrating. If my skin could send thank-you notes, it would. But as a primer? Let’s just say my foundation and concealer still quit on me faster than a teenager on dish duty. Staying power? Nope. Pore-filling? About as effective as trying to cover a pothole with a Fruit Roll-Up.The texture is also confusing—it’s more runny and gel-like, which is fine, but “spackle” feels like false advertising. When I hear “spackle,” I expect something that could hold a crumbling wall together. This? More like water balloons at a kids’ birthday party—fun, refreshing, but not what you’d use to fix structural damage. Here’s where it redeems itself: team-ups. Pair it with a thicker, heavy-duty primer, and suddenly it’s a whole different story. I combined it with the Wet n Wild Impossible Primer and BAM—dream team. Together, they survived a 10+ hour shift of sweaty, heavy lifting in a bone-dry warehouse. Makeup still intact. Basically the Avengers of primers, except one’s clearly the sidekick.Would I repurchase? Honestly… probably not. I don’t want to buy a product that only shines when another one carries it. This primer is like that one friend who’s fun at parties but can’t plan a trip to save their life—you love them in a group, but solo? Hard pass.Verdict: Excellent hydration, disappointing primer powers. Keep it if you need moisture, but don’t expect it to “spackle” anything except your hopes and dreams.
fabulously silky and hydrating - love it.
I have tried primers previously and did not like them due to the fact that they made my face dry and actually made my make up look worse. After trying this, I am in love, does not dry my face or make up out, my make up looks smooth and gives a lil glow as well, so face does not look cakey and helps with the staying power. It does not make your face look greasy or break me out, and I am 55 years old, and does what it says to smoothing things out, spackle for your face lol, and is easily washable and gives a lil hydration but not too much.
Sparkling face and excellent product.. goes on beautifully
If you’re looking for a primer that delivers a smooth canvas without feeling heavy, Laura Geller’s Spackle Primer is a solid go-to. It has a lightweight, almost serum-like texture that glides on effortlessly and absorbs quickly. It doesn’t feel greasy or overly matte—just that perfect middle ground where your skin feels hydrated but not slick. One of the standout features is how well it preps the skin for foundation. It really does “spackle” over texture and fine lines, giving a soft-focus effect. Makeup applies more evenly and tends to last longer throughout the day. For those with dry or mature skin, this primer is especially friendly—it doesn’t cling to dry patches or settle into creases.Bonus: There are multiple versions—like tinted or illuminating options—so you can tailor your primer to your skin’s needs.Pros:• Lightweight and hydrating• Smooths skin texture• Helps makeup stay in place longer• Great for dry or mature skinCons:• Might not be mattifying enough for very oily skin• Slightly pricey compared to drugstore primersFinal Verdict:A solid choice if you’re after a primer that feels like skincare and makes your makeup look better, not cakier. It’s not a flashy product, but it’s a reliable one—and sometimes, that’s exactly what you need in your routine.
Really good. Easy to use great for make up. Works well on mature skin.
great, woks, light enough, no much scent
