I have very fine hair that used to be straight but grew in lightly wavy over the crown and curly at temples and nape after I shaved my head last year. (So a mix of 2a and b, really, with more classic “C” type curls at the lower neck and around the ears.)I got this to support the curls if possible — which it does. I follow the listed directions and it helps keep my curls defined for longer. It does make your hair crunchy if air dried (I don’t have all the hair tools like a diffuser), but breaks apart into soft hair after you run your hands through it and fluff a little.The smell is a bit much for me, as it’s flowery and soft, but that’s a personal preference. It’s not overpowering or anything.The product works great for the day, but my hair will be heavy and fairly oily by the next morning (hazard of such fine hair). My hair is about six inches long at this time, and 1½ pumps are more than enough, so the bottle will last a long time. Pleased with it!

It's good but hold is little less, have to use gel with it

It did help my curls a lot…. But it dries so frizzy! I tried air drying, diffusing, no towels, etc etc. I followed the instructional video and tried not to touch it for hours etc. I used a little more/a little less of the product…. Over all it does make my curls stay and last longer. But unfortunately I won’t purchase again. The price is high for something that makes so much frizz.

This curl cream is amazing! It defines my curls without weighing them down, leaves my hair super soft, and smells great. I love that it works as a leave-in, styler, and moisturizer all in one. Definitely a must-have for anyone with curls!

I'm not usually one to start throwing around over-inflated accolades when it comes to hair care products, so trust me when I say that this is a GAME CHANGER for me.I've worn my hair straight for over 4 decades of my life, since when it was left to air dry, my hair would expand into a huge, swirling vortex of chaos, frizz, uneven waves, and a couple of random curls in weird places. Some education on how to care for wavy/curly hair sent me down the rabbit hole of product after product, trying to make my natural waves/curls look like the women in the curly product ads. All of the ads and how-to videos all seem to require a minimum of three hair products, specialized drying techniques, a phoenix feather, a haiku to the gods of hair care, and a drop of unicorn blood to get the same results. And even then, the results were over-perfumed, dull, sticky and/or crunchy at best, and lost hold throughout the day.And here's the problem for me: I'm a chronic hair-toucher. I can NOT stop messing around with it all day long. With most of the curly hair regimens, that leaves me with uneven crunchiness, hair that flattens out over the course of the day, and sticky, perfumey hands. And I can tell you with absolute confidence that no partner wants to run their fingers through crunch and stickiness either.Enter, Love Ur Curls all-in-one. For starters, with this I only need to buy one product, and I don't need to waste time in the morning layering a bunch of things onto my hair, and a little goes a long way. Further, the scent is light and disappears quickly, leaving just the scent of my shampoo/conditioner. And the final results are as good or better than the more complicated curly hair systems. It gives good definition and hold, but more than this - and here's where you can imagine the light of the sun breaking through the clouds and a choir of angels singing from on high - my wavy hair is both touchably soft and NOT STICKY AT ALL.My search is over. I need no other curl products.TL;DR - Good value, light scent, gives great curl activation and definition all in one product, all-day hold, and leaves curls touchable and soft, without grease, stickiness, or crunch. 100 stars on a scale of 1 to 10.

I haven't tried many curl creams but this one is definitely my favorite! Curls are so defined without frizz or feeling heavy like you put way too much product in. I'm 40 but more recently have tried embracing my curls. I never wanted to do the whole gel crunch thing so this makes it super easy. Its also a great detangler. My daughter's hair isn't as curly as mine but when I put the cream on her hair to try it out I couldn't believe how easy it was to brush her hair. My son also uses it for his longer curly hair. I do put a tiny bit of oil in after just to help seal a few fly aways. It also seems to work decently for second and third day hair where I spritz it with water and scrunch it a little.

I'm mid 50s with 3a curls. If you're like me, I've been on the hunt for the perfect product that defines my curls, isn't sticky/crunchy,limits frizz, gives some volume without making my hair ginormous for at least 45 years. NGL - I'll admit that I rocked that curly,frizzy, big hair in the 80s and it looked damn good and all it took was cans of Aqua Net. But 80s big hair came and went. So back on the hunt. Plus I'd love something that could actually take out some of the layering of products (leave in/detangler, curl activator,gel, spray, etc). But that was like finding glittered golden unicorn. Like most of you, I'd see someone with great looking curls and ask "what do you use in your hair it looks great!" I'd go right out and buy it. And then...... yet another disappointment. So when I saw this product on pintrest,I thought I'd give it a try and worse case I'd throw it in the bucket of despair with the other fails. So wash day came, I followed the directions and didn't use anything else *tho I had to fight every muscle memory to keep from adding more products. Dried with diffuser with my back to the mirror. Then turned around....HOLY BUCKETS! I actually found it!! The glittered golden unicorn! My curls were perfect! Soft and touchable but with great hold, just the perfect amount of volume. It was high 90s and humid. No frizz, no droop, just great curls. Putting this on my subscribe and save and trying out the shampoo and conditioner next.
