Scale accuracy: 0.25 ″ Projector mounting screw type: M4M5 Material: high-grade steel and plastic
Used on a Formovie UST. Works great
I bought two of these to support a pair of Eiki Ek-501WL projectors, which are pretty weighty projectors at 21.3 lbs (9.7kg). These wall-mounted projector arms are excellent quality and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The base mounting plate is very sturdy and has many different mounting holes allowing for several lag bolt position mounting options. The telescoping arm is highly adjustable and is also very sturdy and solid construction. The mounting plate that attaches to the projector is also extremely configurable. There are 4 mounting arms that can be disconnected and reconnected into the different slots to accommodate almost any projector hole mounting pattern. For the projectors I installed, the farthest spaces holes are 15 inches (38.1 cm) apart and it was able to accommodate this with some adjusting. As a side note, this mounting plate that attaches to the projector and its configurability is very critical to altering the angle of projection, if the projector screen is not perpendicular to the wall. Natively, it's designed to aim at a perpendicular wall and the arm itself has very little rotational range of adjustment, so this must be compensated for using reconfiguration of the arms on the projector mounting plate. Fortunately, this is not difficult to do, but may take some trial and error to get the plate angle right. My only criticism would be the instruction manual, which is not well-written, and it can make identifying the correct bolts/screws a bit of a challenge. This is made more of a challenge because the hardware pieces included provide many options.Overall, I would definitely buy these again and recommend them!
Works great for our ultra short throw projector and fairly easy to install!
Very sturdy, angle adjustment screws work perfectly, instructions are clear enough, cable routing is a nice touch, this is a serious product. Works great with my fairly large and heavy projector.
This thing is pretty cool, they really thought of everything when it comes to this mount. I wanted to get a horizontal mount because the room housing my projector couldn't have something sticking up into the ceiling; most other horizontal mounts aren't long enough for what I needed, too expensive, or have a giant sliding rail (which is unsightly if you don't have your projector situated at the very end.)If you look at the pictures on this listing you'll find part of the manual. If you notice the knobs used for adjustment, this is probably the best part of this mount. Those knobs are smooth and they'll adjust pretty far in whichever adjustment, no jaggyness, and your projector will sit stable at any setting (that I tried at least.)The mount itself is solid, no wiggles, shakes or sways. The cable channel within the telescoping arm is a nice touch. The panels that cover the bracket are pretty standard.Do note, however, that this thing is a beast. I forget exactly, but I think I weighed the telescoping arm to be either 11 or 13 lbs by itself; its heavy. Be absolutely sure that your wall can support it because all that leverage is going directly into that bracket. I have metal studs in my apartment so I had to use some toggle bolts that were rated something crazy like 100+lbs each. Also, not sure why the company nor the actual mount model isn't directly listed on amazon. At least for me, that's a major annoyance when I can't find the company directly responsible. According to the manual, its manufactured by Viri Smart Media Solutions. Did not fit my Benq ht 3550 projector, but it is a solid well built
This wall mount came with everything I needed to install it properly, and the wall plate has a ton of spacing options to where you can most likely find a couple of studs to anchor it to. The fine adjustments are okay, not super smooth or fine but does the job.The projector mounting arms themselves are okay. It took some creative engineering to get it to work with my BenQ x3000i projector but once I did it, I tested it and felt that it was very secure. I didn't have to use any extra screws or spacers, just utilized what came with the mount itself. My only real gripe was that the sliding mount adjuster screws that attach the projector arms to the wall mount itself were a bit janky and took some effort to get lined up.
Very adjustable and does hold up really well. Built quality is very nice too
