very good quality
Warm and comfortable to wear. Works great with my phone. The extra mitt layer really adds warmth.
So far so good with these. I've used them running, dog walking, and hiking, The extra mitten cover has kept my hands warm and dry in the rainy PNW winter weather. The touch sensitive fingers really work and I appreciate the "snot wiper" (as another reviewer called it) on the pointer finger lol.
I bought these for a vacation race up in the Tetons and Yellowstone. I love these - plenty warm for my hands -they help block out the wind - these are the best running gloves I have ever had - light enough but keep your hands toasty.
Great converting mitts to gloves with handy pocket to tuck the mitt flap into when not in use . Warm and comfortable, I will be ordering a second pair .
I love these. The mitten covers add wind protection and warmth and the gloves themselves fit well and are comfortable. Touchscreen works as well as with any gloves. I appreciate the soft fleece like fabric over the sides of the hand/thumbs as my nose tends to run in the cold (sorry but a fact of running life in cold weather).
I really like these. They work well as gloves and become much warmer with the mitten part up.
These are the perfect gloves, for running or otherwise! They are light enough to wear on days when it's cold out but not freezing. I love that I can use them as gloves or as mittens. I do wish there were a way of securing the mitten slip-over part to the wrist when folded back and not in use as mittens. These gloves keep my hands warm for most cold temps but not when it's in the single digits or below. On freezing days, I wear a pair of knitted mittens over these running gloves. I have tried using them to touch my cell screen but they don't work for that. The strong magnets at the wrists help keep the pair together when not being worn.
They arrived with a hole in.Unfortunately my husband decided to use them anyway and has made them fairly grim so no chance to return.
FINALLY I have found running gloves that actually keep my hands warm! I live in the Midwest and run outside in the winter when the temps are in the teens with a brisk wind. I have tried several kinds of gloves and nothing keeps my fingers from being so cold they hurt, until now. These gloves are perfect! The mitten shell does a great job blocking the wind and keeping your fingers warmer. Plus, I can tuck a little Hot Hands packet in the mitten on the extra cold/windy days for a little extra warmth. I ran for 2 hours in 16 degree weather this morning and my fingers were comfortable the whole time (a first!). I kept my thumbs warm by holding my hands in a fist or tucking my thumbs into the mitten shell. The gloves fit perfectly, and I have long fingers. If you don't need the mitten shell, they tuck neatly into a little pocket on the back of your hands. I can also use my cell phone without taking them off, even with the mittens. They wash well, and the little magnets in the cuffs are handy to keep them together on my shelf full of family hats/gloves. Highly recommend!
Bought these for my daughter who was training for a half marathon and was running in pretty cold weather! She said they were great quality even saying she had to remove the mitt a few times bc her hands were so warm! They were a little pricey compared to some other for I think they are worth the money!
I bought these on the basis that they were described as waterproof - they’re not.I have a pair of Ronhill mitten gloves similar to these, and the difference is negligible, so I can’t see any justification for the price (I’ve added photos of the two). The significant differences between the two are:- reflective element on the mitten compared to the Ronhill mittens- two hidden magnets that can be used to keep the gloves together.- the Trailheads gloves fit better than the Ronhill’sThey’ve managed to get a hole in them after two months, meanwhile my Ronhill mittens are still going strong after almost two years. They’re not particularly thick so not great in really cold weather. They will absorb water if the rainfall is medium within an hour.
I upgraded to these from cheapo magic gloves. Like dollar store gloves. They are definitaely better than that. The fabric pills easy at the sweat wiping thumb zone. Sometimes my hands actually get too warm and sweat a bit...when I remove the glove part...I wish it had a magnent/velcro to keep it from flopping around. They keep my hands warm. So I like them overall. The reflective portion on the inside is flaking off after a month of use...but doesnt seem to effect warmth. I like them enough.

TrailHeads Co-Founders
Blazing our own trail since 2002We’re a small, family business based in Kent, CT.
Back when we first launched, we worked out of a one bedroom apartment and we sold a handful of styles almost exclusively to running specialty retailers in the northeast.
Since that time, our team, product line and reach have grown considerably. We now work out of a small farmhouse in Kent, CT, located a short warm-up jog from the Appalachian Trail -- our “go to” testing ground for the cool gear we design.
We’re passionate about the innovative styles we design and driven by an unwavering commitment to comfort, performance, fit and style.
