Too small
The beads are colorful, in a variety of shapes. The size is perfect for my little grand daughter to lace bright necklaces and bracelets.
The beads are very small. Use with caution.
These are great. They’re not as big as the Melissa and doug lacing set (which my 2.25 year old had when she was just under 2) but now that she has more fine motor skills, this is a perfect size. It’s probably an intermediate step from here and the normal pony beads. The trickiest thing for her is knowing where to hold the string to be able to get it through the whole bead so it’s nice that some are still very thin discs so she can do those easily (this was actually my only complaint of the Melissa and dough ones - they were so deep/wide it was hard to get the whole string through). Colors are a grab bag, we definitely have way fewer purples in our set than reds but whatever. She loves them. Packaging was also cute
Great toy for sorting and stringing. We do closely supervise as my granddaughter is only 2. She enjoys naming the colors as she strings them.
Beads were smaller than they looked.
My 4-year old and 2-year old love the beads and strings, which are very easy to handle. They spent a lot of time stringing into "jewelry", sorting, counting, and built a castle or two. An excellent, versatile gift!
I use these beads to make chunky kandi bracelets and necklaces (and I will definitely order these again when I use them all up! )Since this is advertised as a children’s activity, it is worth noting the beads are large but still small enough for a child to put in their mouth and choke on! As with many other children’s toys, keep an eye on smaller children and babies when they play with these beads and the shoelaces they come with
