The expansion bolts in the package were defective in that they didn’t have a socket cap or screwdriver groove. However, some standard wood screws of a similar diameter did the trick as a replacement

08-03-2026The product really needs another joint to pivot platform tray so that angle of light projection exactly matches the screen. I slight mismatch in geometry, with underperforming projector capabilities, means that the projection of film is always at risk of being askew.

08-03-2026I really wish your were able to adjust the rod. We hung it from our ceiling and it was way to long. We have a 9 ft ceiling in our lower level, but in this particular area where the projector is needed, we needed it shorter. So we found a welder to cut the pole. Now, it works for us. However, if the pole was adjustable, it would have saved us the $50 welding fee.

08-03-2026Don’t waste your time on this product. I bought it because my projector doesn’t have mounting holes so I needed a tray. This product looked ok so I bought it and the instructions to put it together are an absolute joke. The pictures are so small and poorly printed that they’re basically useless. I had to look at the actual product pictures on Amazon to be able to figure out how to put it together. Also, the expansion screws they don’t work properly, and there’s no instruction on how to use them, either. I had to go to a local hardware store to find an alternative mounting screw to make it secure to the ceiling. Overall, this is a terrible product with even worse instructions and you should spend your money on something else!
