08-03-2026There was a sale on this so I decided to give it a try. I know there may be debate over colors of fishing line but I use a clear leader anyway on all of my braid and haven't had any problems with colors so I gave this a go. I bought the 12lb line.Loaded my reel up (KastKing Spartacus II) and added a fluro leader, gave it a try and this stuff casts a mile. It is very smooth, very durable, I haven't noticed any fraying so far and will update if I do or if I see any of the line losing color.I liked the casting action of this so much that I loaded two other reels with it (Okuma Avenger AV-3000, KastKing Zephyr, black version) and the casting does not disappoint. Both cast smooth and just fly. I had all of my reels loaded with Runcl Merced line in the 12lb 4 strand braid, which is very smooth and cast quite far, but this stuff just flies. I did several test casts when it was slightly windy, just casted down the empty street, and there were no wind knots.On another note, it is a pretty slick line but it ties pretty well.Wish it came in a solid color but I couldn't find it.Overall very happy with it.

08-03-2026August 1, 2025, I bought two spools of 1000 feet per spool of 20 pound test, this is the best braid on the market highly recommend it. It lasts forever and the 39.37 ft. per color is awesome.

08-03-2026Runcl upgraded their line. It is smoother. Alot smoother. I havent tested or caughy anything on their new line yet. It is the 65lbs braid. I bought a 1000 size and 500 size spool, i thought it was a mistake for 50lbs line. I was wrong, they quite thick. The smoothness and thickness is compared to the daiwa jbraid and yo zuri. Ill give it another review once i see how it catches big fish. Planning to use them to target yellowtail and bluefin. Casting shouldnt be an issue.
