The microwave I was attempting to clean with this device had some brown mystery stains that were not removed completely after following the directions. I ran it through twice, at 5 mins each time. The stains were less visible but were not budging. The paper towels were not sufficient to wipe anything away, so I went back in with a scrubbie sponge and that helped a little bit. I had put the figurine on the glass tray each time, because it was not clear if I was supposed to or not. I'm wondering if the reviewers who had theirs go up in flames didn't use their glass tray? Also, the entire apartment smells like vinegar even though I added lemon juice as suggested.
I find dirty microwaves disgusting, unfortunately this sentiment is not shared by my husband and children. I kept seeing 'Angry Mama" on multiple websites and kept thinking it was another useless gadget. Amazon had her on a flash sale, and I figured for the price I wasn't out much if it didn't work. I tried it today and surprisingly it lived up to all the hype. There are lines that tell you how much vinegar to add and then another telling you where to add water. I followed the instructions and put her in the microwave for 7 minutes. I wiped it out with a damp paper towel, and it was sparkling clean. Though the vinegar smell wasn't all that strong, the directions say you can add a bit of lemon juice for a fresh aroma. I was all out, but I will try that next time.
This is a flawed design. The concept here is that the hair locks into place to create a tight seal. This forces one route of escape for the steam, through the holes in the hair, with pressure to "steam clean" the microwave. The problem is that the seal isn't tight. I experiment with the seal, lining up the locking mechanisms and locking it into place. However, there was always a gap, even after experimenting for an hour, watching YouTube videos, and following instructions. Without the tight seal, the pressure never forced the steam out of the top to "steam clean" the microwave. Maybe the name brand works, but this sure does not.
I use to have one of these and it was great for the microwave
Hi the microwave needed a good cleaning. Have had it a long time. And it was ecumulating stains. Saw “ Angry Mama” Pour white vinegar and water into container. Microwave for 7 minutes. Let cool for 2 minutes. And begin to wipe those stubborn stains away. Thank you Angry Mama
Great value! She got the job done. I like that I didn’t have to use any harsh chemicals to remove the crud build up in my microwave. The instructions were easy to follow and I did not have any issues with placing the water and vinegar inside of the angry lady.
Saw this on Pinterest and due to price I figured it couldn’t hurt to try it. It works amazingly and I ordered one for my ex-husband who loves it too.
This little Mama makes cleaning the microwave a breeze!!! All you have to do is let her do her thing per the instructions and then wipe the inside of the microwave clean with a microfiber cloth. Any gunk comes off in an instant. Its really a no-brainer. I wish they'd make something like this for cleaning the frig.
