I’ve coveted these for ages and am not disappointed. I use them for cold weather (0-35°F) runs and hikes and they’re perfect warmth. I usually start with the zips closed and open them after a while. While they are great for highly aerobic activities, not warm enough for sedentary activities. It takes a little practice to get the zippers open without removing one, but it’s doable.
I’ve been using these gloves for a couple of months now. I live in New England, where the temperature can get pretty low. I use his primarily to walk my dog. I love the ease of being able to pull down the zipper to access my fingers for picking up poop or adjusting anything that needs adjustment while on my walks. They kept my hands warm enough, but keep in mind that I am not using the gloves for running or anything strenuous. I really like the fit and appreciate that there’s room left in there in case I want to ever hold a hand warmer pack.
Good size but my fingertips still get cold
The short review:These gloves are AMAZING. They kept my hands super warm. The zippers allowed me to cool off a bit when my hands overheated without having to take the mittens off.The long review:I am prone to very cold fingers, especially while running. Every pair of gloves I've ever owned has failed to prevent my fingers from freezing while out on a run. I even bought a pair with a mitten shell, and my fingers still froze while wearing them.I saw these mittens and was a little hesitant to purchase them at first because they're a bit pricey, but I just wore them on a somewhat cold and windy run (around 20°F wind chill), and for the first time ever, my fingers didn't freeze! In fact, after about 30 minutes, my hands started to overheat! The zippers are excellent for allowing the wearer to use their hands (for phone, locking and unlocking front door, whatever else), but additionally, they allowed me to vent a little and let some cold air in when my hands started overheating. Having them unzipped let a bit of air in without my skin being directly exposed to the elements. Then, when the wind died down a little, I poked my fingers out all the way to let them cool off. Then, when the wind picked up again, I tucked them back into the gloves and zipped them up. These mittens are a game changer.
J'attendais un peu avant de faire un commentaire mais je les adore simplement j'habite Montréal et avec la tempête et le froid que l'on a eu je n'ai jamais eu froid avec cette paire de mitaine le zip est très pratique. Je les adore simplement
I tried these on and could tell right away they'd be very warm and comfy, but they were too bulky for me. I sent them back and ordered a different pair from this company. They're a good quality brand for sure and would highly recommend.
I hate running in the cold or even starting cold so these are always in my running bag.The zipper opening is genius! My hands stay warm. Once I warm up, I just unzip and stick my fingers out!I also like that they clip together and I can hang them on my running belt. They’re lightweight enough that they don’t bother me in my belt. There’s also enough room to wear another pair underneath on really cold runs. The interior is a nice soft fabric.
They are not warm
I love these mittens! They keep my hands very warm and the zippers work perfectly. I’m so glad I got them
Love them
I wish they made an XL but the large men fit comfortably without inner gloves.
These are the first gloves that actually keep my hands warm no matter what the weather is. Other reviews mention that your hands will actually overheat and this is true, my hands will often start sweating and that is why the zippers are great to open up partially so you can ventilate your hands when they get uncomfortably warm. I also like the loop they add onto the bottom part of each mitten to help you pull the glove all the way down, something usually difficult to do while wearing the other glove. The wrist area is snug, the finger area is spacious though, where my fingers have plenty of extra room. I also machine wash these on cold (and try to air dry, but have accidentally thrown them in the dryer with other clothing and they have been perfectly fine besides the Velcro looking a little messy now).

Our winter running mittens for women will keep you cozy through all of your favorite winter sports.
Do you like the warmth of winter mittens, but get annoyed by the loss of dexterity? These insulated mittens zip open, allowing you to pull your hands out without taking your mittens off. You can easily respond to a text, or grab your keys out of your pocket, then zip the mittens back up and continue on your run. The zipper track is also reflective providing a bit of extra visibility during the darker days of winter.
The Primaloft insulation will keep you cozy while you are running on the streets or skiing on the slopes. We recommend these women’s winter mittens for temperatures 10F+. Please note that our women’s mittens are designed for aerobic activity so our temperature recommendations are made with a moderate activity level in mind.
To further enhance your warmth, these cold weather mittens have extended cuffs. They tuck easily into a jacket sleeve to lock in warmth. A Velcro tab allows you to adjust the fit around your wrist. On the cuff you’ll also find a pull-loop to help you pull your mittens into place.
These thick mittens for women are made with recycled materials. The shell is 92% recycled polyester, and the insulation is 70% recycled polyester.
These womens mittens are available in 2 sizes. To find the best fit for you check out our size chart. For those looking for an even larger option, we do make a men’s version of this style. To care for your mittens machine wash them on a cold delicate cycle and lay them flat to dry.
Ready for all your cold weather activities from running, to cross country skiing to snowboarding, you’ll enjoy the warmth and convenience of these women’s zip mitts.
