This product review is more about the HARDWARE it comes with. The hooks are great...now that I have them installed, they are very sturdy and theoretically would be really easy to install (if it weren't for the crappy hardware). It does a great job of holding my projector off the ceiling.HOWEVER. The Hardware that it came with is PATHETIC. I am just baffled that this company would send such HORRIBLE hardware to hold up something so heavy. The screws that go into the wall have a phillips screw with a 10mm hex bolt. When I was screwing it into a ceiling joist, the phillips screw stripped halfway in. So I switched over to the hex bit socket which stripped it down to a circle. I figured I'd learn from my mistake and PRE-DRILL into the wood. So I pre-drilled and left about 1cm for that screw to go in....well....the phillips portion stripped....then the Hex head BROKE OFF!!! So I went to the store and got some high quality hardware instead.
thin metal, use for smaller screens
We use these in our RV to mount a projector screen in front of our bedroom window. These are sturdy and secure without and movement when putting the projector screen up and down.Easy to install with only a couple screws.
This was much better than what came with our screen. Very easy to set up. Great quality. I used Wing nuts instead of the standard screws that came with.
These brackets worked great for our projector screen. They were easy to install and are very strong.
Has held up well in the last 1-1.5 years
made from good materials, quality, mounting bracket for Pro projector. Highly recommend.
Works great and easy to install. Holds up my heavy screen woth no issue.
