From avid anglers to weekend warriors, we all share the same goal – catch everything. From your rod and lure right down to your line, use the right gear to get the job done and maximize every day out on the water. New and improved Berkley® FireLine® is smoother, tougher, and more sensitive than ever before. 8-strand fused technology provides unmatched abrasion resistance that makes it 5X's tougher than conventional braided fish line. It has a smoother, more supple feel for a longer casting line with balanced control and maneuverability.
At Berkley, our process gives anglers the tools and confidence to catch more fish. Failing to catch fish is what motivates us to keep fishing, keep studying, and keep figuring out ways to make all our products the best on the market. Because of this commitment we can confidently say - We've done the science. Now you catch the fish.
I've been using 4 or 6# Fireline to make 3D Peyote Stars for many years. It only fails me if it is next to a bead with a sharp edge (rarely - and not the threads fault!) Strong, feels smooth, easy to thread, holds a knot if you use a thread burner, good value and it takes a lot to make it fray!
Works nicely for creating beaded items. Strong but very flexible. However, I recommend special cutters made for cutting fishing line. Highly recommend.
This line is super strong and very thin. Cuts the water with ease, sinks you lure quickly. Highly recommend.
After fishing for 70 odd years, this is the best line I've used. Worth the money to buy it!
I have used this line for the last fifteen years. It always holds up and is the best line out there if you are using a free spin rod. I wouldn't recommend using this on a casting rod, Fire line is flat instead of rounded so it tends to shift and cut into the rest of your line causing bird nests and knots. AGAIN best line for free spin reels, just not ideal for casting reels.
Great
amazing beading thread, fits through 15/0 beads, easy to thread into a needle. You get 125 yards. Will definitely buy again.
Great price for high quality fishing line / FireLine for beading. You'll get a lot more for your money this way, compared to buying from a bead store.
Extremely forgiving in case wind knots start to form- easy to fix. Very strong and makes great knots. Worth the price- will definitely buy again!
parfait
Put the crystal 6lb and 8lb on my three jigging rods. This stuff is definitely different from monofilament it cast farther and you can feel everything. So far I like it but have only been out fishing with it 3 time's. Not sure about longevity yet? If it doesn't hold up not sure it's worth the price?
My wife uses this for beading projects. Much cheaper than the “craft” version but exactly the same. Very good quality.
