08-03-2026I've been using 4 or 6# Fireline to make 3D Peyote Stars for many years. It only fails me if it is next to a bead with a sharp edge (rarely - and not the threads fault!) Strong, feels smooth, easy to thread, holds a knot if you use a thread burner, good value and it takes a lot to make it fray!

08-03-2026Works nicely for creating beaded items. Strong but very flexible. However, I recommend special cutters made for cutting fishing line. Highly recommend.

08-03-2026I have used this line for the last fifteen years. It always holds up and is the best line out there if you are using a free spin rod. I wouldn't recommend using this on a casting rod, Fire line is flat instead of rounded so it tends to shift and cut into the rest of your line causing bird nests and knots. AGAIN best line for free spin reels, just not ideal for casting reels.

08-03-2026Put the crystal 6lb and 8lb on my three jigging rods. This stuff is definitely different from monofilament it cast farther and you can feel everything. So far I like it but have only been out fishing with it 3 time's. Not sure about longevity yet? If it doesn't hold up not sure it's worth the price?
