Not as advertised!! Product was advertised with a 2 inch, rubber reinforced door-stop grip, yet came with this tiny grip- at a 90 degree angle so I can’t even open the door when I’m done using it, as there is too much friction from the object standing up and not rolling on it’s side!!! Huge hassle to use!
The best equipment when you can't go to gym
Does exactly what it’s supposed to! Love it!
The product received was not a Nordstick. It had a plastic anchor and a black strap with a plastic clip, that broke the first time trying it out..Very disappointing.
Don't buy this full price. If you can pick it up for a steep discount, though, it's a great little workout tool.I am an aerialist and after watching a friend tear her hammy in a routine I decided to try some dedicated exercises to strengthen my hamstrings and hopefully prevent any of my own injuries. I've only been using this for about a week and the Nordic curl is *hard* but it feels great. The nordstick is comfortable, but I'm a smidge disappointed in the quality. I got it for a steep discount and it's definitely worth the price I paid... But not much more than that. It comes apart easier than I anticipated, and if one of the little endcaps comes off it can be pretty difficult to get back on properly because they don't have any holes for air to escape, so you're just trapping air inside the metal tube core. It's also a little difficult to adjust and the stitching isn't terribly clean, leaving me slightly worried about its longevity. Aside from that, though, it does its job well so far and the foam padding over the steel core seems like pretty good construction, so I only knocked a single star off.
Nordic curls are one of my new favorite exercises. In lieu of getting a full metal setup at home or continuing to jam my feet under my couch, I decided to try the NordStick.Pros:+ I can do Nordic curls on it+ PortableCons:- Even at its shortest adjustment, it doesn't quite accommodate for my small feet (M7.5) I have to lift my heel further and press my toes to the door (as they cannot touch the floor) to get enough friction to make this work.- It tore my door (see pictures). You might consider placing tape, a towel, or something to buffer the friction of the rough strap against the door. For at-home, I'm sticking to jamming my feet under my couch until I make some adjustments.
I am 85kg and use lots of firm padding under my shins and knees whilst performing nordics with this strap. After barely 10 months of use 1-2x per week, the plastic door anchor has literally snapped mid-rep, sending me catapulting into the ground, winding me. The strap has also flown into the back of my head and left a nice bruise. I highly recommend seeking a safer alternative than this strap. It is not up to the task and is clearly dangerous. Very disappointed that a seemingly reputable company would use such a cheap plastic anchor, it needs to be made of metal. NOT SAFE, DO NOT BUY.
I am a runner that has recently had hamstring problems, and wanted to add some hamstring strengthening into my routine. This device works very well and does not take up much space, so well worth having. It does take some time and effort to develop the strength to do a true nordic curl, but you can put some of your weight on your hands as you go up and down while using this. In time I will know if this helps my running, but I am going to give this a try.
Simple design but very effective Hit the hamstrings nicely

The NordStick Nordic Hamstring Curl Strap is an incredible tool for strengthening hamstrings. Oh, but for a word of caution. I’m 74, and lead an active life in the Northwoods of Minnesota, and have always been aware of the imbalance between the quadriceps and Hamstrings. My cabin is a MacGyver labyrinth of exercise devices, and this hamstring curl strap is the cat’s meow. Unless your hamstrings are strong and supple, I would very strongly advise the use of a support like a balance ball to lower and raise yourself to the start position. As Arnold Schwarzenegger said repetitively in the short edition of Education of a Body Builder, concentrate on the muscle group upon which you are working. A balance ball will enable you to do so as you lower and then raise yourself. You will be in total connection with your hamstrings from the higher to lower portions and everything in between, with little to no fear of pulling or tearing your hamstrings. As you become more comfortable with this device, it’s easy to adjust how much or little you require the balance ball.I’ve also begun using The hamstring curl strap for reverse crunches. An added benefit is stretching one’s pecs, which will help loosen shoulder tightness, as you go through the reverse crunch. This is a fantastic fitness tool!
Works well, I put a yoga mat under my knees for comfort and it's very nice to use. Had held up to over a year of use.I recommend this for a home setup as a good option to work the hamstrings
This is a great purchase. Not much to say about this. Good quality, it's lasted this long and doesn't show much wear and tear. It works well and is a good price point to be able to do Nordic at home. Make sure you have some support for your knees.

The Nordstick was launched with athletes in mind, designed by strength coach and physical therapist, Garrett Drumheller. In working with injured athletes to help recover and get back to doing what they love, he realized there was a huge need for an easy-to-use product that allowed them to rehab or train anywhere, anytime.
This is how The NordStick was born.
The Nordstick provides a powerful and compact solution that helps build stronger knees, accelerates recovery, and mitigates the risk of future injuries. Its portable design makes it ideal for travelers seeking a convenient and efficient way to maintain knee health.
The Nordstick attaches itself to a door for sturdy, reliable resistance in hamstring health, so the user can quite literally close the door on old habits and revolutionize their strengthening strategies.
