08-03-2026Still getting use to the 15’ rod but I am casting a lot further then I was with the 9’ rod I was using. Quality seems good and it came well packaged to protect it while in transit and the rod itself comes in a carrying bag that makes it easy to carry down to where I fish and keeps the dust off it when I’m not using it.

08-03-2026Really wanted to like these rods. Bought the Medium and Medium Heavy models for a Mexico vacation. To my surprise, I broke the heavy model rod on a 3# Bonita. I have a hunch there was a manufacturing defect based on the brand new rod breaking on the first day fishing it. I am now home from vacation and past the return window.

08-03-2026The 4 pieces makes it perfect to fit inside a tube and keep as carry on baggage. The rod was amazing in action. Heavy for large fish, cast amazingly well. Just be careful to not tight the reel too much, it will break the plastic thing as seen in some reviews, by the way, that is the only weakness of this rod. Got a beautiful dorado in cabo with this rod, it survived though runs from the fish like a champ.

08-03-2026For the price you just cant beat it with a 6 oz and a good Penn or shimano you can easy cast 60 YDS with no effort my goal is 130 yds now the rod is very flexible fast action eyelets could be better but if you take care if this rod you will have no issues quality is really good I was impressed use a good reel and your guaranteed to have a great combo.I was a bit leery of this but after using it for a few hours it casts nice
