This CRAFTSMAN 13" Tool Box turned out to be a great addition to our road trip gear. It's compact, lightweight, and just the right size to toss in the back of the car for emergencies, quick fixes, or keeping essentials organized on the go.The lockable feature is a nice bonus for added peace of mind, and the compartments inside make it easy to keep things sorted. It’s definitely functional and convenient—especially for light use or keeping a small set of tools handy. The size is perfect for basic tools and small jobs around the house, car, or campsite—not too bulky, but holds just enough to be useful when you need it most. That said, it’s a bit on the flimsy side compared to more heavy-duty options, so I wouldn’t recommend it for daily construction site use or lugging around a full toolkit. But for road trips, DIY basics, or home odds and ends, it gets the job done well.4 stars for portability, value, and smart design—just don’t expect it to be built like a tank. Perfect for the trunk, the garage shelf, or a weekend warrior’s setup! ✔️

Kind of small for tools, but I put it on the back of my cub cadet lawnmower to hold small tools when I’m out on the land cutting grass. Keeps me from walking back to the garage.

This might be the worst "tool box" I've ever seen. When I opened the box, the lid wasn't even attached and when I tried to attach the hinges are so cheap, they won't stay connected to the lid. Even when I get it shut the latch won't stay closed which makes the lid come off every time you try to pick it up. If that isn't bad enough, the tray doesn't align and so it just sits on whatever tools are in the bottom. Its effectively a plastic bin with a lid resting on top. Not exactly functional. Don't waste your money!

It's the right size for what I needed to put into it, but it is so flimsy, that it is difficult to lock the lid down with the fear of it popping open. With any sort of weight inside (tools), the shape of the toolbox distorts, so I end up squeezing the sides here and there until I can mate up the lid and close it.It is Made in the USA, which I do appreciate.

This little simply made plastic tool box is as cheap as they can get yet can carry a weight it clearly wasn't designed for. It's scary to use at first because it feels so flimsy, yet I fill it up with drill press accessories and carry it around without fail. The load handling capabilities of handle and clasp is what worried me at first but they haven't failed me yet.
