Purchased for use on a long cruise and for travel with three kids. This has been great! We paired it with a travel clothes line and saved us a bunch of money on laundry on the ship as well as let us pack less when traveling. It is a must for those who want to pack light for long trips. High quality materials, durable clips and valve, and while pricey is totally worth it.
I am very pleased with this bag! Very easy to use and compact for traveling. I had a long trip with business and fun planned, but I didn’t want to pack that many clothes. This was the solution. It was easy to fill and use in the hotel. It will be great for camping also.
I recently used the Scrubda Dry Bag during my vacation, and it turned out to be a very useful travel companion. The concept is great—it’s a compact and efficient way to wash clothes on the go. The built-in silicone insert mimics a washboard, making the cleaning process more effective.I used it every day to quickly wash T-shirts and underwear, and it worked perfectly. While using it in a hotel wasn’t the most convenient experience, it definitely saved me money on laundry services. If you’re a frequent traveler looking for a simple and portable washing solution, this dry bag is worth considering!
This saved us! I have had my eye on this product for a while now! I took the plunge to see if it would help us during our stay at an Airbnb when the washing machine wasn’t working. And y’all wouldn’t believe, this thing was a the rockstar of the trip! We were able to wash small batches of clothes and use the dryer in our Airbnb! When finished using it dried out over night - I’m sure if you were hanging it outside on a line it would dry faster. I would buy this again and again! It’s now a staple for trips! It doesn’t smell and the clothes come out smelling like the soap we used! Very durable material and great value for what I spent! And it folds up small when you’re done with it!
works great, wish it was a bit bigger but not a deal breaker.
I live in an apartment without laundry facilities and I run-> have sweaty clothes that can’t wait for the next laundromat trip. This bag works like a mini laundry machine. It gets my workout clothes very clean in a short time. after the initial scrubbing, I usually let the clothes sit for about 30 mins, give is another little scrub and rinse, squeeze dry and hang.If you want to be even more efficient, toss the scrub bag on your shower floor and use your feet to rub the bag while you shower! It’s also great to small loads when running out of essentials like undies! Super durable, great value. No leaks!
Literally amazing. I got this to use on a 2 week camping trip with two small kids (older toddler/young kid and baby), as their clothes are always ~nasty~ and I didn’t want to wait until I was home to catch up on gross laundry. This works absolutely amazingly. I will say that if you roll and let the air out as directed on the bag, it does leak a little- HOWEVER, if you let the air out half way/to the water line, reseal the vent, then continue rolling down then clip and wash, there is maybe a single drop of water that comes out. It washes really well- I paired with detergent sheets and do 1/4 sheet (can do a half for bigger loads). You do need to rinse the clothes after (I just keep refilling the bag with new water until I feel all the suds are gone). Overall I would buy this thing 100x and wonder why I didn’t get this way sooner.
Also ich habe diesen Waschbeutel in meinem Camper dabei.
Great for a cruise. Bought this along with laundry sheets and a travel clothes line (with magnets) to hang dry bathing suits, cover-up and undies.Great in a pinch...backpacking, camping, cruises, etc.Can also use it as a laundry bag.
SO EASY! Works like a charm with a half-sheet of detergent. Just the right size for a small load, enough to fill the small laundry line I hung over the couch in our cabin.Put in some lightly soiled clothes, add detergent and hot water. I put it on the floor and rolled it around with my feet - no leakage, easy to see through window. Rolled out dirty water into shower, and refilled with clean water. Roll around some more. Usually rinsed once again in sink, squeezed dry with a towel: clean & ready to hang to dry!You will want to supplement this with dry, non-toxic laundry "sheets," a clothesline (bring magnets and suction cups to hang), plus clothes pins/pegs.
I ordered this to take on a cruise, as the line doesn’t have any laundry facilities. This worked really well. I was able to put clothes in with a laundry sheet and leave them to soak then rinse them out. You can roll the top down and secure the bag so it doesn’t leak too. Very sturdy. It did the job.
I did months of research before purchasing the Scrubba. I stalked their social media, combed through forums, and read every review I could find because I wanted to be absolutely sure it would work for me. I already use laundry detergent sheets and have been paying extra for Airbnbs with washers and dryers, but for my upcoming European backpacking trip, I needed something compact and efficient. This seemed like the perfect fit.I tested it thoroughly before packing it: thick boxer-style period underwear, a long-sleeve t-shirt with a vinyl graphic, and a face mask—all washed with two sheets of Good Juju detergent, following Scrubba’s instructions to the letter. I often hand wash in sinks while traveling, but it usually leaves a funky smell or texture. This time? No residue. No smell. No texture issues. The clothes came out cleaner than expected—even the period underwear, with just a single rinse. (If you know, you know!)An unexpected bonus: I used it as a vacuum-compression bag inside one of my Monos packing cubes. The Monos cubes are great, but the mesh makes it hard to compress anything fully. After trying to close it for over a week, the Scrubba saved the day. Everything I wanted to pack fit beautifully once I used the Scrubba as an airtight storage bag. Dual purpose win!Why not five stars? Unfortunately, on first use, it leaked—a significant amount. For a product priced at $80 CAD / $50+ USD, that's disappointing. I’ll still be bringing and using it, but I feel strongly that this kind of defect should not be overlooked at this price point. It works, and I’m mostly happy with it, but the leak makes me question the durability and quality control.Still, a great product with smart design—just be sure to test yours before your trip.

Plus having this Scrubba portable washing machine with you means you can wash clothes anywhere, anytime and in just minutes.
Is the roll-down closure 100% water tight?
The roll-down closure used allows the product to be lightweight and flexible however some water can wick through the closure over time. This can be minimized by rolling the closure as tightly as possible 6 times.
What cleaning products can be used to wash clothes in the Scrubba wash bag?
Laundry liquids, powders and sheets can all be used in the Scrubba wash bag (even shampoo or bodywash if you are desperate). Please ensure powders or sheets are fully dissolved before adding clothing to the portable washing machine.
Does the Scrubba wash bag remove stains?
Independent testing shows that the Scrubba wash bag gives a machine quality wash. However, just like with your home washing machine some stains need to be pre-treated before washing. Travel stain removing pens work well with the Scrubba wash bag.
Can I soak clothes in the Scrubba wash bag?
While the Scrubba wash bag is designed for washing clothes in just minutes, you can soak clothes if needed. As the roll-down closure isn't 100% waterproof, the Scrubba wash bag should be placed upright in a shower, bath or basin during soaking.
