Keep your supplies neat, organized and in one place with this CRAFTSMAN 20-in. Toolbox. It's made of a sturdy material and comes pad lock ready (sold separately) for added safety. This plastic tool box has a spacious interior that you can use to hold a hammer, measuring tape, screwdrivers, wrench and more. It also includes two top organizers and a removable tray that's suitable for holding smaller handheld tools, screws, nuts and bolts and nails.
Nice and sturdy. Only thing that could be improved is the top tray could be better quality and deeper storage.Perfect size for what I was looking for.

Works well enough for what it is for. It's designed to sit in my truck behind the srat and keep tools and other things necessary for repairs. It's not as stiff as I would like - meaning the lid doesn't close correctly all of the time: you need to shift it a bit. But for the money, it's good value.
This is a very nice general toolbox. It is roomy and can hold all kinds of tools, etc. You will really like the latches on the box and the ability to lock it if you wish (no lock included).I use this box to store and carry power tools (DeWalt Multitool) and to store the tool(s) in my garage. This box is great for such storage and is a great deal better than keep expensive tools in carry bags that are sent/included new power tools. Also, take note of the dimensions of the box. It is a very nice size and is larger than the "average" box of this type you would usually order.
Perfect size, sturdy worth the money, easy to lock
Craftsman is a legendary brand of tools used by many professional due to their excellence of manufacture and reliability. That was my reason for purchasing this toolbox. This review is based upon the free replacement unit from Amazon, as the first one I ordered was defective. The latch on the upper small storage compartment of the first one was broken off and missing the moment I took it out of the box. Amazon made it right by promptly replacing the defective unit with a new one that I received which was found to be in perfect condition. The design of this toolbox is excellent. The top carrying handle folds flat into its own niche. Side by side on top are compartments perfect for holding screws or small tools. There is a tray with a handle inside the box that is perfect for carrying selected tools, such as screwdrivers and ratchet handles. The lockable box itself is very deep and 20 " wide, perfect for hammers, a small screw gun/drill. The metal latches each have a plastic sleeve This toolbox is very solid and a great way to keep one's tools secure and well organized. I've always preferred Craftsman tools, and this box lives up to its name.
I ordered a bigger toolbox wanting something I could shove ALL my crafting tools, home repair tools, computer repair tools, everything into and make it one space where I could find everything. My first reaction upon receiving it was, oh no, what have I done! It's huge!My second reaction was oh, I see, it holds precisely two cats. They didn't seem to mind the harsh rubbery smell coming from the inside of the box, but I did, so I left it open (apparently as a cat bed) to let the smell disperse.I'm thrilled with the box. It's the perfect size for someone with slightly too many power tools and lives in an apartment to own (in my defense, the walls are concrete, and putting stuff up on 3m tape is not always an option). It stacks with the other 16-inch Mastercraft boxes, especially the one with the included dolly, so I could absolutely see this being a great way to cart around non-huge items without worrying about the safety of expensive tools inside. On its own, it's lightweight but very durable (I might have dropped it once). There's nothing super exciting about the inside, just a removable tray, but there are others that have extra shelves etc. I appreciate the lack of anything as it lets me put my tools in while still in their protective foam, in whatever order I want.Of course, now it no longer fits even one cat, and they are very mad about this fact. Paste has taken to sleeping on top of items anytime I open it, and Copy just gives me disgusted looks every time I pull it out. So do mind cat judgement... or maybe get a second one for them?
We moved to a new apartment and in the process, I realized our tools didnt have a real home. This toolbox fit our needs perfectly. We dont have much, but just needed to store a drill, it's bases, and other wrench, screw driver, screws etc odds and ends. This tool box works well, provides the right amount of organization, and stores easily.
A Good Toolbox Is More Than a Box—It's an InvestmentI recently upgraded my old, battered toolbox tothis one and the difference is night and day. A toolbox might seem like a simple purchase, but a good one is a crucial piece of equipment that can save you time, space, and a lot of frustration. This one doesn't disappoint.Built to LastThe first thing you notice is the build quality. It's made from a durable, impact-resistant plastic that feels solid without being overly heavy. The latches are a highlight—they're heavy-duty metal, not the cheap plastic ones that snap off after a few uses. The handle is sturdy and comfortable, even when the box is fully loaded with tools. I've already put it through its paces on a few projects, and it's held up perfectly to being tossed in and out of the truck and handled roughly on job sites.Smart and Functional DesignWhat I really appreciate is the intelligent layout. The main compartment is deep enough for power tools, hammers, and other bulky items, but it's the smaller details that make a difference. It comes with a removable tray that's perfect for screwdrivers, wrenches, and sockets, so you don't have to dig for them at the bottom. There are also small, clear organizers in the lid for screws, nuts, and bits. This kind of organization makes it easy to find what you need without dumping everything out.A Solid RecommendationI've owned plenty of toolboxes over the years, and this one strikes the perfect balance between ruggedness and smart design. Whether you're a professional tradesperson or a homeowner who just needs to keep their tools organized, this toolbox is a fantastic investment. It's built tough, well-designed, and makes your life a whole lot easier. You'll spend less time searching for a misplaced wrench and more time getting the job done. It’s a workhorse of a toolbox, and I highly recommend it.
My son is very pleased with the toolbox./ It appears sturdy enough for the purpose it was purchased for (a Christmas gift). He keeps his guitar supplies in it, and the tools for necessary guitar work, etc. He finds the latches nice and sturdy, and there is plenty of room in little pockets for safe keeping.
No complaints - everything is as described. Quality material manages to find a good balance between being pretty lightweight but sturdy and durable. Latches are easy to use and aligned well. Handle is comfortable. Plenty of room, I like the removable tray and extra storage in the lid.
This is a toolbox, so if you are looking for something life changing, you may want to look elsewhere. If, however, you are looking for a toolbox then this is a perfectly adequate general toolbox. It does everything a toolbox is supposed to do: it holds tools in various compartments for organization. If you’re looking for an affordable and versatile toolbox then this is the right one for you!
Like craftsman tools this toolbox is a really well made. It’s a plastic toolbox but it is tough enough. Plus, like the tools it has a lifetime warranty. You can’t go wrong with a warranty like that unless you run it over or drop it off a roof or something. I recommend it
