I have bought other Macally keyboards in the past and generally am a fan of this brand. While the build quality of the keyboard is as solid (or even more so) that I expected, the mouse is underwhelming. However, it works as advertised. While gaming, I have noticed some lag with the keyboard. This did not happen with the BT keyboard from a different company. I mention this in case it is very important to others (it isn't to me).I was laboring under the misapprehension that when the keyboard switched to a new BT channel, the mouse would follow. That is not what this product does. I have two machines sharing the keyboard quite nicely, but I also have to have two mice, which is less ideal. If the mouse used wireless USB and plugged into the keyboard, perhaps this might have achieved the setup I had intended. However, Macally never promised this setup in their ad copy, so the joke is on me.Whether this unit was a good value for ~$70 USD I will leave up to the shopper. There are definitely other units available with similar functionality for less. All this said, I am still likely to buy more Macally keyboards in the future. As I said, it is a brand I have trusted for Mac keyboards for decades.Cheers.
Simply brilliant, works like a charm on my MacBook, brilliant price as well.
This is my second keyboard purchase. These work great as a replacement (or original) keyboard for Macs. They hold a charge for a long time. They are compatible with up to two machines once with just the flip of a button. I prefer this over the original apple keyboard. This one holds a charge longer, has more functions, seems better designed, seems sturdier, and is definitely cheaper! The keys pretty quiet. The mouse has more features than a standard apple mouse. This will be my Go-To keyboard for my Mac's

Bought this last year for an old iMac I was passing down. It was an issue connecting them and keeping them connected. Everything fully charged and no connection, can’t unlock the computer. So I need to get a wired setup now.
I got this keyboard/mouse combo from here last June. I really loved it- the keyboard is very sleek, keys feel nice, and I actually like the shape/feel of the mouse way more than the apple ones. The track wheel and weight of the buttons are great too. It's an unbeatable price for the quality. It also has both the mac and pc labeling (option key says alt above) so its versatile but is also helpful for people like me who went from PC to Mac and were confused by the different keys- when I would read shortcuts online I could just look down to see the Mac equivalent. They hold charge for a pretty long time and are easy to charge with the included usb which is conveniently the same for the mouse and keyboard. The only annoying thing is- and sorry I can't remember which one it is right now- but one of them you aren't able to use while it is plugged in, so if it suddenly dies you'll need to wait or use a backup as neither has battery capability. I feel like that is pretty common with USB accessories though.Ok and now for the customer service! About 6 months after having it, the keyboard stopped charging/working. I just stopped using it for a bit and then finally recently went through amazon to get help with no word back, so then I reached out to Macally directly. They responded so quickly with some troubleshooting which temporarily worked, but then it happened again next time it needed to be charged with no luck in getting it to work. They then immediately sent me a brand new keyboard/mouse for free, I didn't even have to pay for shipping. All this to say definitely buy it directly from their website or their Amazon so you can have access to this service, and reach out to them directly if there are any issues.
PRODUTO CHEGOU E FUNCIONA MUITO BEM
I recently started a new job where I have to use a MacBook Air Laptop. I'm one of those folks who wants a full-size keyboard and external mouse (not a trackpad). I had a Logitech Keyboard/Mouse combo that connected via USB-A that was both Mac and PC compatible. I used it for a few weeks but soon learned that it's pretty helpful to have a Mac-specific keyboard in the long run. [for me, it came down to the copy/paste keyboard shortcuts]I started looking around and was astonished to see the cost of the Apple Keyboard and Mouse products. When I found this product for the price, I thought I'd give it a shot. I was very pleased and would recommend these items for several reasons:Design and Build quality: The aluminum body of the keyboard is way more than I expected. It has a premium feel that I wasn't seeking, but enjoy. It's a full-size keyboard with a 10-key numeric, which I love. I appreciate the keyboard's design, especially the key height and responsiveness. Unlike some other brand models I've used, the keys here are comfortably low-profile, making typing more ergonomic and enjoyable. Overall, I'm satisfied with the feel and functionality it offers.Sound: The keyboard is not overly crunchy or loud; comparatively, it's on the quiet side, but it's not silent. I have used many keyboards that are much noisier than this one, but, if I were on a conference call and typing while not speaking, I would hit the mute button. The mouse, however, is pretty silent. No sharp clicks from the L/R buttons. For me, that's very desirable. If you're looking for a mouse with more audible feedback, this one may not be for you.Ease of Use & Connectivity: The set was as simple to connect as any Bluetooth headphones. Once I connected the keyboard/mouse combo via Bluetooth for the first time, I never needed to adjust, search, or reconnect. I've been using the set for about 3 months and I haven't encountered any lag or connection issues.Charging: ***Micro USB Charging*** I was surprised to see that these items are charged via micro-USB (see pic). USB-C is now the norm, so this is not super convenient in my cable management setup; I would much rather have the now-standard USB-C charging connection that I use for almost all of my other devices (except, of course, the iPhone). But honestly, I have so many extra old micro-USB cords in my cord collection box that it was not an issue for me.Battery Life: The charge on each of these has been between 2-3 weeks. The mouse loses charge faster than the keyboard. An incredible usability function that I really appreciated was that the devices can be used while charging. For example, one day I shook my mouse to wake up my computer an nothing happened. Eventually, I realized it was because my mouse was dead. But instead of having to switch to using my laptop keyboard and mouse (for me, personally highly undesirable), I was happy to learn that I could use my mouse while plugged into the micro-USB power cord. I let it charge while I used it and then some extra time after work. I don't know what the charge times are, but I've not encountered any noticeable issues with them.Overall Experience: I'm extremely happy with this product and would recommend it, especially for the price.Comparison with other products: I am not a native Mac user. I'm not able to compare this to other premium Mac products. For me, as a long-time PC user, I'm extremely happy to add this to my desktop setup and would recommend.
