08-03-2026This is our 2nd MaxWater system and we will be repeat customers.Makes plenty of purified water and removes all the bad taste from chemicals in our water supply.We've tried several other systems but were never really happy with them.I would suggest that you replace your storage tank at the same time as the system.

08-03-2026Make sure you pressure test the system and watch it prior to putting it online and walking away.We found a broken fitting between the filter housings. It was outside the window for the return. We took care of it ourselves but just be aware.

08-03-2026This looked like a great unit and i appreciated the reviews. Unfortunately the unit i received had one of housing as defective and would leak. After several attempts at reseatting the O-rings on the housing that holds the filters -- i attempted to retighten, reinstall 3 times -- the unit would eventually start leaking -- the housing is "crooked" on about 1/3 of its circumference and was not holding the O ring in place as the other 2 .. I decided to return the unit and immediately ordered a replacement (a second one too as a matter of fact). I understand perfectly that sometimes there are man defects --- when i tried to contact the company i politely asked if i could get free expedited shipping as i needed the unit back in service.I was told that there is a restocking fee .. i explained that i dont see a restocking fee for a defective unit.The company rep condescendingly informed me that they pressure test all their units and they dont leak. He continued his condescension after i informed him that on 3 successive attempts to reseat the O rings it started to leak once after nearly a week, another after 3 days and then a third time after about 2-3 hours -- according to this individual Orings never suddenly begin leaking .. really? I'm an engineer and know full well that Orings and seal DO fail and leak -- especially with this particular defect that made it obviousI'm not given to writing bad reviews on failures of products as these can happen BUT i do expect a vendor to hone up to their manufacturing error when they do occur.I cancelled my re-order for the faulty unit as well as the 2nd unit -- i would rather pay an extra 20-30 dollars than have my intelligent insulted -- the product looked great and for the time it worked produced great volume and water.
