08-03-2026I bought this Dell Optiplex 3050 SFF Desktop Computer to use as a living room PC. I mainly use it to watch movies and sports, which works great. The video card could be better, but it's good enough for my needs.The computer is speedy and responsive. I can open multiple applications and stream video simultaneously without any lag. The SSD also makes a big difference in boot times and loading applications.The computer is also very quiet. I can only hear it when I have to restart it because of the Windows updates.Overall, I am pleased with this computer. 08-03-2026Purchased NOV 2022. This Dell 3050 REFURBISHED came installed with Absolute Software which enabled in BIOS. The Absolute Software then pings whoever controls the Cortex XDR Software which gathers all of your info and disables the ability for you to turn any of this Software off. It reared it's ugly head in June 2024. It originally was part of lo jack but was manipulated to control your virus Software and Firewall and specific files from palo alto networks. I have even reformatted HD and it comes back after connecting to internet. I noticed it when it disable my remote Software. Now the pc is trash. I'm am SAD.

08-03-2026I am impressed with how well this refurb works! I did contact customer service trying to figure out things like wifi, audio and bluetooth to no avail but I figured it out. I replaced my monitor plug with an adapter that will work with the computer, a bluetooth dongle was needed too but I only had to spend another $45 on extras to get it working the way I need it to. It's fast, compact and it was up and running very quickly.The computer is fast, zero issues in the 6 weeks I've had it. I'd not hesitate to get another one.
