08-03-2026Fits my eight year old son perfect. It is not to puffy when layering clothes over it. I have washed it many times and it still looks brand new. Thankfully he hasn't been hit in the chest but for eight years old it fits well and is nice and firm where it needs to protect. It is lightweight. I feel it is worth the money for protection and piece of mind when they are on the field.

08-03-2026Son feels more confident going after ground balls wearing this shirt. He has taken a grounder off the chest pad and he said while he could still feel it, it didn't hurt and it didn't leave a mark. It's not allot of padding but I feel like it's enough to prevent any major injuries. It's been washed about 10 times and it shows no sign of wear. I don't put it in the dryer as I think the high heat would be bad for the padding. I (and he) liked it enough to buy another one.

Size and quality is great. Our athlete is able to wear it during games and if need be take his jersey off between games and still look appropriate.
