08-03-2026Tested if it was good. it was abit more thicker then the MX-6 4g but i got the 8g to replace the devices (xbox, PC and others.) thermal paste. As it did it did better then the other thermal paste i had.

08-03-2026Arctic makes good quality thermal paste. I bought this and the MX-4. Both of them work well if you have to re-paste your CPU and GPU. It's a good price, good quality and it keeps my laptop running cool when I do maintenance on the heatsink for my laptop.

08-03-2026Lasts for over a year without needing to replace it, under a Ryzen 5 5600, GREAT temps, this is a low cost but highly effective thermal paste.I've also used thermal grizzly, but honestly, temp difference versus price is not that worthy, unless you're looking for the very best, I would stick with this one. I've purchased it multiple times, highly recommended!

08-03-2026I originally thought these would be worse than my corsair thermal pastes but I was WRONG! For comparison, the pastes I got from Corsair were 15+ dollars but these beat the paste by a MILE. The amount of paste it comes with is a LOT. Im serious, I didn't expect such a big syringe and I love it. These cool my CPU very well and it's very easy to spread. It works really well and I love how easy the paste was to apply (Make sure you go long for intel, pea size for amd.) I CANT wait to reapply this paste in like five years.

08-03-2026Excellent paste. In addition to a new cooler, dropped my temps by around 15 degrees Celsius.Easy to apply, but more viscous than competitors, so be careful when applying. Cleanup is easy with alcohol wipes.Bought this on recommendation from some hardware websites.

It conducts heat like… a thing that conducts heat well… and…Noise level? Idk… Amazon just says it as a review suggestion. It’s silent, idk what to tell you, it’s just CPU paste.Definitely worth it for the price, it’s especially well known to not dry out, recommended for longer lasting or dryer climates. It just cleans off when you rub it with a paper towel or Q-tip. But use isopropyl alcohol for cleaning computers. NOT WATTER!

08-03-2026Applied it on my Switch lite and I hardly hear the fan at all anymore. I can definitely recommend this, and from research it is said to last up to 8 years without drying out, it's a set and forget it type of thing. so yeah go for it. I highly recommend the 8g one though, its a better value for money and you can apply it to multiple devices

The ARCTIC MX-6 is a carbon filler-based thermal paste and reaches its maximum performance without burn-in, directly after application and distribution. It achieves all of this without any reputed ingredients, such as expensive diamond dust or various precious metal particles. The silicone gel used as a carrier enables optimal distribution, which is achieved through even contact pressure, for example when mounting the heat sink.

We measured the absolute thermal resistance of both pastes on our lab-testing machine, which is much more accurate than a CPU. Two factors are mainly relevant:

Easy application
MX-6 is neither electrically conductive nor capacitive. This eliminates the risk of short circuits or discharges, which can cause serious damage to components if care is not taken. The thermal paste is also free of liquid metal components, which can often lead to discoloration, abrasion or corrosion damage to the radiator bottom.
Available in several versions
ARCTIC MX-6 is available in package sizes from 2 to 8 grams. Resealable syringes prevent the paste from drying out and facilitate dispensing. Alternatively, the variants with MX Cleaner are available. These enable simple and residue-free cleaning of the contact surfaces. The cleaner consists of 100% Limonene, a natural substance obtained from citrus essential oil.
