08-03-2026I primarily use this light for either a video prop or lighting in my videos. It was super easy to use right out of the box. Build quality isn't all that great. It feels like cheap plastic but the lighting, colors and effects are great. Lately I've been using this light stick for a lot more situations because its so convienent to grab and set up.

08-03-2026I got my first mirrorless camera a few weeks ago and I am trying to learn the ins and outs of photography and videography. Since I still have no idea what I am doing, I am trying not to spend a ton of money on lighting and other equipment until I have a bit more experience. This light wand is at a great price point and good enough for a newbie to use to experiment with. It is also battery powered so I don't have to worry about outlets. It's also light in wight such that I can hang it off a magic arm from the camera's cage. It's kind of unwieldy when you do that, but it's nice that you can!

08-03-2026It provided the pink lighting at an event I traveled to. The battery lasted fine the entire time but I didn’t have it on continuous. I kept it stationary on a tripod the entire time because it didn’t feel sturdy enough to not have it stationary (compared to the other brand of light at the same price point that I bought)For my purposes I wouldn’t recommend it since I travel heavily and it didn’t come with a protective cover and feels flimsier. For a casual light to have set up at home it’s fine. And if you are taking it out and about often it would be fine to have. The body is nearly entirely plastic. There’s also more light modes than I needed (strobing and such)

This one's biggest concern to me was the battery life, which for me has been better than any of the reviews I have read.This handheld produces a ton of light, can be threaded into a tri-pod, tons of simple controls and modes... amazing product for the price. Super light and comfy to hold.
