I’ve been using Dove Men’s Care of about 10 years. From the body washes and shampoo to the the hair product.The hair paste is creamy and malleable. It will thinking over time but is still easily worked into hair. Light scent is not too strong. Has a good hold on my coarse hair. I prefer to put in dry hair but if I’m in a rush I can put it in damp. It will make your hair a little stiff if put in damp hair. Dry hair I am able to readjust my hair throughout the day.My biggest issue is price. The product has more than doubled in price over the years I have been using. Covid is behind us but pricing has stayed.

This is my go-to hair styling product. It holds all day, and it has a nice matte finish. The only time it doesn't hold perfectly is on extremely windy days, but I'm usually able to fix it once I'm out of the wind. I find that Dove is a consistent brand of high quality. Also the scent is light and very pleasant. I have nothing bad to say.

This is probably my favorite hair styling product of everything I've used in the past 7 years. Upsides: 1) It's light weight so your hair doesn't feel like anything 2) It's not sticky so your fingers won't be sticky throughout the day (you can still feel a tiny, ignorable amount) 3) It has a nice smell but also not a strong scent so you won't smell like anything 4) It's easy to apply given how easily it spreads (which ofc makes it a perfect pre-styler) 5) As advertised it's medium hold, which honestly is all you need for most men's hairstyles, and low shine, which again, should be what you aim for for most hairstyles 6) It's so affordable for such a well-rounder product DOWNSIDES: 1) The biggest downside is this product is not entirely water-soluble. Meaning you might need shampoo to get it out of your hair entirely, at least that's what chatgpt says 2) It's not the best post-styler, but that's fine - rarely does a product function both as a pre-styler and a post-styler. I've tried products that were advertised to do both (blumaan) and they sucked at being a post-styler 3) Because it's not sticky, it's not the best at allowing you to restyle your hair throughout the day. Again I think this downside is a reasonable trade-off, especially if you work an office job or just don't run around in the day

I am an average looking man. Hair line receding. This pomade will keep your hair in places you want. If there is any life and bounce left in your hair this will not kill it. Smells nice if that matters to you.

This is the best product that I have found for my thick and curly hair. I am able to style my hair in any direction with hold that lasts all day. Pro tip - spray some water in half through the day.

As advertised, it has a relatively low shine, which makes it great for a natural look. It’s easy to apply but you need to really make sure that it’s mostly clear on your fingers before putting in on your hair. It can hold your hair well for hours but only where it is put on.
