The printer itself is fine. Setup is a disaster. The ironically named 'HP Smart Connect' app is a disaster. It won't 'sense' your printer. HP support is nonexistent. The webpage support is basically "turn it off/on, delete/reinstall. repeat." Useless.Do this instead to save yourself HOURS. Open Chat GPT on your phone, give the make and model, tell it you want to connect DIRECTLY. It'll give instructions to connect directly to the printer's WiFi page (this is why you used your phone to contact Chat GPT). Once on the printer's local page, setup is simple (there's a setup wizard).Once you've managed that, the printer is good. I'll probably never purchase HP again; their software is a nightmare and their support is nonexistent.

It was easy to install, don’t know why everyone thinks you need to use an Ethernet cable to set up I never did. Wi fi connected right up works great. Don’t use that much and with inkjet every time I wanted to print the ink was dried up. Hard to find just a printer anymore everything is multi function. Great price, good quality and cartridges aren’t that expensive. Will update in a month or so.

Printer is great, inexpensive, works for what I wanted it for as a downstairs complement to a larger multi-function ink jet I have in my office upstairs .But a pain in the butt to get setup. Ended up needing the printer usb cable (you’d think they would have included one!) to get the wireless info loaded as there is no touch screen on this model….but now working on just wireless just fine. Was about to pack everything up last night and return it—-had to reset my router a couple of times (which made other things, like my echo devices go nuts). But it finally started working. I can now see both printers from both desktop and laptop, as well as AirPrint accessible from multiple iPads and my iPhone. I spent 40 years working in IT and I knew it wouldn’t be as easy as HP says (unless you have one device, one printer, and connect them with a physical cable!!!)…and not even 100% sure why it finally started working, but it does. Seems to be a great functional little cheap laser printer—just not magically easy to install.

Very happy with this printer and, since I don’t print often, I won’t have to worry about a dried up cartridge. Prints quietly, quickly, on both sides and the paper is housed inside, which makes my desk neater.

Printer works decently, the setup was quite easy, the print quality is good and the toner page yield is fairly decent. I wish it had an inbuilt scanner. Nonetheless, I would recommend for a home office or small business. I’ve had the printer for a month but i will edit this if any changes after 6months.

I needed a good, basic, cheap printer that is dependable. I'm tired of inkjet printers that dry or clog up so I bought this HP Laserjet Pro on sale and it works great! I've only printed 3 pages so far but they come out lightning fast (within 5 seconds) and the text is really clear!Shipping was very fast (within 2 days)!

We needed a new wireless printer to go with our laptop that we just purchased and this HP printer works great. It has all of the basic functions and was so easy to set up. It connected wirelessly to my laptop and within minutes I was able to print out documents with no issues. The size is great and doesnt take up much space on my desk and I am happy with the quality and how quickly it prints.

The set up on this printer was super frustrating to say the least. Software was useless. Model did not show. Later found the model number and next saw drop down menu for operating system, windows and Linux listed but not IOS. Directed them to another page asking for printer which then did not recognize a printer, which was 123.HP App. This did not work either. Finally attempted to connect WiFi, would not connect, asking for password and was none. Last attempt was to use WPS button on router, which connected as WiFi blue light went from blinking to steady blue. The printer was finally connected. Perhaps the issue was attempting to connect with Mac IOS as opposed to windows. Also finally connected WiFi to phone as well.I hope thatt this may help anyone else who was struggling with this set up

I purchased the HP LaserJet Pro 3001dw specifically because it was advertised as supporting automatic duplex printing. My primary need was A5 duplex printing, which the product appeared to support — the paper tray is even marked for A5.However, after setting up the printer, I discovered that it cannot perform duplex printing on A5 paper at all. This makes the printer completely unsuitable for the purpose I bought it for.I contacted HP support several times through the hotline, but each time the outcome was a failure — no fix, no workaround, and no refund offered. This is extremely disappointing from a company of HP’s reputation. If you need duplex printing on A5, be warned: this printer will not deliver what is promised. Misleading specifications and poor customer support have made this a frustrating and regrettable purchase.

Took this printer out of the box, looked at the setup guide, followed all of the instructions. Literally, all of the instructions, for every method of setup. None of them worked. HP = Huge Problem. No wonder they have so many products, they flood the market with "printers" so that people think they know what they're doing. If anything, they keep making crap that doesn't work, then still put it up for sale to fund the infinite amount of mistakes they make after that. If you buy this, and don't intend on returning it, then do yourself a favour and open the box over a dumpster.

There have been no reviews for this product yet.
