He was getting chafing rashes from his cotton boxer-briefs when he played, so I wanted to get something that would wick the moisture away and prevent those. These boxers are great! He says they are very comfortable - and he likes that they are longer than most boxer-briefs - they don't ride up his legs when he runs. .... He is 5'5" and 110 lbs and wears size 14 shorts - I bought him the size 12-14 and they fit great.
